Microsoft will email your missing Fable 2 DLC codes

Yeah...wow. I didnt really care that the other stuff got cut out, quite frankly I was happy as i didnt really want it, and a cheaper game was fine by me.

But really...I paid $10 for a DVD Ill never watch, and a box art Ill never look at as I keep my games in a CD binder.

......

Screw it, Imma go watch the DVD just to feel like I got SOMETHING out of the LE.

Now, I don't mean to be a nay-sayer.... I absolutely LOVE this game.... but with each new turn of events, the people that purchased the collector's edition are getting horribly burned.

First we lost our fancy box, cards and Hobbe collectable (which hurt the most). This was "fixed" by giving EVERYONE access to a free Soundtrack and a price cut on the game...

Now, alot of us have been left without redemption codes for the downloadable "Exclusive" content. I understand accidents happen, and both Lionhead and Microsoft showed impressive speed in resolving the issue..... but it's this "resolution" that poses the biggest burn yet. Absolutely ANYONE can go to the registration site, register their gamertag, and get a free code. It doesn't matter if they have the LCE of the game or if they even own the game at all .... all they need is a Gamertag.

My question is this.... Where does this leave the people that paid the extra money for this "exclusive content"? After the loss of the physical items, this content was the only reason for most of the people to go ahead and still pay the extra for the Limited Edition. I can safely say that the Documentary disk or the "different case" were not the Clincher for anyone..... especially for $10.

..... I don't know..... this just leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. To be fair, after this latest turn of events, Lionhead and Microsoft should just outright refund the difference between the LCE and Original with proof of purchase...

I'm sure I'm not the only person here that thinks this.

Only thing better then getting free LE content is charging your friends for it. HA! The anti-social nerds that read video game info all day win again.

Stuff like this.....just really depresses me. In fact until yesterday when I was looking online I didn't know my limited edition was supposed to have a code for that armor and I was under the impression I had been screwed over.....now I see this.......yep the LE to me seems to be a big hahaha hehe joke. I mean the bonus DVD taunts you with that hobbe traveling around the world going oh look you didnt get me.

Thank god the game itself isn't bad or I would've gone insane.....but I was too obsessed being the king of the world >.

At least you get your code after.

I signed up on oct28 and I have yet to get my code the the collectors edition.

I got my code with my Limited Edition and have now finished the game. If people who didn't pay for the LE now can get the code for free, I got ripped off. Has anyone got a code yet without haveing paid for the Le?
