This is something I want to ask Tmac: What the fuck happened to you?

While we disagreed on numerous things(and yeah you had the tendency to piss me off) I always regarded you as one of the smarter ones, or at least not even close to being like the idiots in Joystiq. But lately I've noticed, based on your responses and even your activity here, that you simply don't care anymore. I mean it seems that all you ever do nowadays is lurk this site until you see a thread about the Wii (either about a title wii owners are excited about, a casual title, or something negative about nintendo) and then proceed to bash the Wii and its fanbase. And I honestly don't see the reason why. Is it really so hard for you to act the big man and just accept the fact that people are going to be interested in things you don't like? Is it really that hard to respect other people's gaming and console interest? Or do you really gain that much pleasure in knowing that you're probably pissing off someone with your blatant trolling(which I might add you don't even try to hide anymore). I mean we get it, you don't like the Wii and you're never going to be interested in any of its games. And that's fine. But is it really necessary to go into every nintendo thread you can fine, and rant about the same shit over and over again? It's gotten to a point that people who normally agree with you are sick and tired with how predictable and annoying you've become.

I don't really care about the ps3 or what it has the offer, but I don't feel the need to make my indifference for the console and it's games known in each and every sony thread. I don't understand why you can't do the same for Wii threads.

sigh. Anyways on The Conduit: I hope this turns out to be a good game. I think the Wii can be a good place for FPS titles if more developers put effort into titles like High Voltage is doing for The Conduit.

@Tmac

Really? You're using that argument again? I hope you do realize taht the only way your comment would even make any sense is if all wii owners acted the same. Problem is, we don't. In fact I enjoy FPS titles and I would like a good one for the Wii. I mean, remember when ps3 owners looked down on the 360 for having too many shooters and yet two of its biggest games are in fact shooters, should I say that every ps3 owner who is interested in KZ2 or R2 are hypocrites?

Oh wait, I forgot. You're a troll. Nothing you say really needs to make sense anyways. Just as long as you get your, I HATE WII post, it really doesn't matter how much bullshit you put in it.

to anyone who doesn't understand:
This game looks like fun because the wiimote has potential to be an incredibly fun FPS controller, and of looks sort of like a cross between Half Life and Goldeneye. Yeah, it looks sorta generic, but it still looks very fun. Mouse aiming may be most accurate, but there's something about the idea of physically aiming at what you're shooting at.

I own and really am extremely disappointed with the Wii, but I might dust it off when this game comes out.

the only reason people care about shooters on the wii is because of the controls. the controls are exclusive on wii. and many, including myself believe the wii controls are the only way to play shooters. thus far, the fps' on wii have been subpar save for a few. the number of shooters can be counted on one hand, and the number of good ones on a couple of fingers on wii. they are red steel (not as bad as people make it out to be), metroid prime 3, medal of honor. so the knock on wii games is that the graphics look like ps1 games, which in some case of 3rd parties is true most likely due to laziness. but to have a game like the conduit that truly does shows what the wii is capable of graphic wise, but also be able to use the innovative control scheme of wii is the best of both worlds. that is why this game is so anticipated. sorry, but double analog sticks are on the way out, and no amount of graphics can help it. shooters were never meant to be played that way. so in a sense that control scheme really is last gen. only way to play fps', mouse and keyboard, or wiimote and nunchuk. period.
