There's now a demo for Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts on Xbox Live and you may just want to prepare yourself. Even if you've never had any patience for a game about a bear wearing a bird-stuffed backpack (which is still not a good idea for a game, bee-tee-dub) you might just find yourself, as we did, happily slapping together vehicles with a stupid grin on your face.
Go ahead, ignore our warnings and download the 1 gigglebyte slice of joy. Just don't come crying to us when everyone you know starts judging you. Harshly.
[Thanks, Travis!]

Lol, I hope both of you are being sarcastic. You know it's basically the same Lego racer game they released like 5-10 years ago but without Lego pieces now, right?

Hey FSK405K,
How does it feel to have no soul? Must be pretty empty, huh?

Perhaps you should actually try playing the game first? Besides a few of the missions, the game is in NO way a racing game, it plays almost exactly the same as the old Banjo games, except now you use vehicles instead of getting power ups.
I agree that it was an unncessary change to appeal to the masses, but the game still plays very well, it's a blast to play and it's still the same Banjo humour.

Rare would be more credible to me if they made Donkey Kong Country 4 and brung bak the bramble scramble(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaMcOo-k23U) music, and the Boss Bossanova(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DftL-h4kK4M) music!

Why are 90% of the retail games that they post demos for crap? Where's the Fallout 3 demo instead?

Oh come on! I'm only about halfway through Dead Space, an hour into Fallout 3, had to bypass Far Cry, LBP, and Fable 2, Gears 2 comes out next week...and now this?! I'm gonna need to quit my job if I want to find the time to play all of these games!

How do you guys do that? I cant stand jumping from game to game until I finish one. I can do jumping from one games campaign and then going to play another games MP. But campaign wise I really like to stay immersed in one story until I finish.

Considering that I watch about 11 different TV shows at any given period in time, I'd say that I've gotten plenty of practice.
Seriously though, I usually try to stick with 1 or 2 games at a time. Any more than that and I completely forget the controls and objectives of at least one of them.

I'm with you babyseatuna. I'm usually playing 2 at once, but if I'm really engrossed with one that I'll stick with that one. It's nice to have a couple games of different genres to add some variety. Especially when one game is dragging or an RPG grindfest. (Damn you Tales of Vesperia, damn you.)
I still hate unfinished games, and I have a few of those lying around. Hopefully I'll get through the main quest in Tales whilst I play Fallout 3 before Gears 2 comes out. Man, life sucks, huh?

Yeah same here. I've been really excited for this game but sometimes demos really kill it for me and save me some mula. Heres hoping I DO need to fork over $40 :D
BanjoK: NaB, CoD: WaW and Gears 2 are the only games I actually plan on purchasing (rest are GameFly's) through out this whole clusterfuck of gaming goodness so I hope it delivers!

Well, you've got to remember, that $40 also nails you the original Banjo, with much better looking graphics. So, you're really only paying $30. Just make yourself think that N&B comes with the original, and then you'll know your money was well spent.

So how much did MS pay for this once Nintendo exclusive?
It's all fun and games until MS buys out Mario. then what? who will stop them? WHO!
In my opinion the Donkey Kong series was waaaaaaaaay better then banjo..... but i dont think Nintendo will ever let him go to the dark side.

Damn, I wish I need a new 360. I loved the old Banjo games, but I know for a fact I wouldn't be able to afford all of these games. I had to rent Dead Space, Bioshock and Farcry so that I could purchase LBP and Fallout. Damnit Damnit Damnit
At least im starting a new job in November for more money so I can get back into buying games.

You only say that because Banjo is on the 360. If it was the other way around and Donkey Kong was on the 360 you would be saying Banjo was your favorite.

I need to say this again. Making vehicles is REALLY satisfying, I've been playing around with it all day, I can't wait to see what's possible in the full game. I've basically made a massive tank with propellers on the top, I can activate springs to make it fly, and when if it lands in water I can deploy floats to make it a boat :D
It's just too bad I don't have enough wheels to make it balance correctly, it's back heavy when it's not moving.

Not many so far but I'm having a blast. I'm sort of glad they changed it up here, otherwise it would just be the same run jump climb and swim game I played 10 years ago.

It still plays a lot like a platformer, the hub world can pretty much be completely explored on foot, you can climb, swim, etc as much as you want.
Only now vehicles are needed to reach new areas and to complete the missions. I understand some may be disappointed, but it certainly isn't a "racing game".

This game is a blast! The vehicle controls are very responsive and feel great. Building the vehicles kick ass! I made a sick car that a flew around and then landed in water and used it as a boat lol....I am very happy that I pre-ordered this game! Plus throw in the banjo kazooie code to download off of xbla, it is a total win!

Oh that is bull... I can't download it because I'm no longer a Gold subscriber. I deactivated my paid account because I never played any games online, which was supposed to be the only feature Gold people get.
