I wish they would release some White Stripes DLC. 7th Nation Army, Black Math, Girl You've Got No Faith In Your Medicine, etc. That would be cool...

Jesus, can you imagine how boring the drum parts for those would be?

Yellow, yellow, yellow, yellow, yellow, yellow, blue. Repeat.

I'm not sure if your making fun of baby sea tuna, or drummers in general, but I'm going to guess that your one of those show-off wanky lead guitarists.

I would love some White Stripes, but they don't typically use bass. I'm thinking "Ball and Biscuit" would be the ultimate Stripes song. While I'm on the subject...Wilco, of Montreal, and Flaming Lips please!

@Shagittarius

Oh no, nothing like that. It's just that those songs would be fun for everyone, I feel. If you don't like the drums part for any song that you already have, would you play it?

Fuck, I really didn't want to buy this game

* "If 6 Was 9"
* "Little Wing"
* "Fire" (Live version)

These are, imo, some of the best Hendrix songs out there.

So I'm gonna have to buy it, unless Harmonix confirms that they're gonna release some Hendrix by then.

Nice yes. Harmonix, get better DLC or we'll buy GH4 even though their interface and star power sucks.

It's not a threat, I'm just that big of a fan of those 3 songs (more specifically Fire)

I'm with you, brutha. If it weren't for Hendrix and The Doors, I could easily pass on GHWT, but man...they're making it REAL hard for me.

So when are they permanently cutting prices on GH3 content? You know, so perhaps I'm compelled to buy it?

I'd sure like some Hendrix, but I'm not going to buy a lesser game just for a few songs.

Is this it? I mean, there was DLC on launch day, right? DLC a month later? I haven't seen any news on DLC for GHWT. Do they expect 6 tracks a month to stem off the tide of Rock Band tracks?

Agreed; if this is the best they can do each month, it's not gonna cut it.

Mainly because all the DLC information was announced months ago. (Oasis, REM, Smashing Pumpkins...)

Wow, they can't even remotely compete with RB DLC. This is a joke. And Hendrix only in a pack. What arrogant greedy bastards.

What's your problem? You want an exclusive 18 song Hendrix expansion only available at Walmart for 40 dollars? Would that be the non-greedy bastard thing to do?

I like how everyone is bitching about the amount of GHWT DLC compared to RB... RB has been out a year with sometimes 3 songs per week... Let them get started you bunch of babies... And remember, not all of RB DLC has been blockbuster... I do recall some craptastic songs being implemented...

the point is that Harmonix hit the ground running with DLC and hasn't let up since. I think I can think of two weeks that harmonic hasn't delivered DLC. this isn't necessarily about what the best DLC is, it's about Neversoft overcoming the failed DLC policies of GH3 and prove that they can execute a consistent DLC release schedule that is AT LEAST on par with Harmonix.

Harmonix actually hasn't missed a single week. They had one week with less than three songs (April 1st, with Still Alive) and they almost missed a week with the Moving Pictures problems, but still got tracks out (the Locksley pack) by Thursday.

The Raconteurs suck. I'll probably shell out for the overpriced Hendrix pack for Little Wing, though.

I would have rather had Manic Depression than If 6 Was 9, but whatever.

We need a Weezer pack spanning a number of albums. Give a listen to "Say it ain't so" and tell me that wouldn't be an awesome song for all instruments...
