Schooled: 'Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades' track list

Let's get one thing straight: Guitar Hero on Tour: Decades is not the equivalent of "playing through the history of rock 'n' roll," as Activision puts it. And even if you could embody this history (which didn't begin in the 1970s, by the way) in just 28 master recordings, the unsubstantial collection wouldn't feature many, if any of the tracks Activision has licensed for its portable sequel. But we digress. You just wanna see the list, right? Head on down!

I think Activision is running out of songs.

They should release a new grip compatible with the DS Slot 1 port.

It could work on the DSi, and it would be nice to have extra DLC songs for those who will get a DSi, and with the improved speakers, it would be nice.

No, they should just not release this game.

My girlfriend had the first one and loved it. However that thing absolutely cramped the hell out of hand and could barely play it at all. Unless they fix that, only folks with small hands are going to be able to play this without pain.

really? never played rhythm tengoku? or band brothers? or ouendan? or DJ Max portable? they're awesome. sorry you haven't enjoyed them yet.

And Elite Beat Agents... even music applications like Elektroplankton, Jam Sessions and the Korg app.

Blech, blech, blech. Especially horrible are titles that are most fun socially like RB and GH. I generally dislike quick time events. I wouldn't dare purchase an entire portable title of them.

I am very well aware of "On Tour". I'm saying that initially there were reports that World Tour was coming out for consoles AND DS.

If that original report ended up turning into On Tour...then so be it.

Most of the songs I like in there are already on World Tour, so this just seems like a cash-in type thing since they already have the rights to them. Plus as much as I love playing No Rain in World Tour, singing it is the best part, not the guitar.

I do have to ask one thing, though: why the heck is Alien Ant Farm's version of Smooth Criminal in the DS game but not World Tour? I call shenanigans.

Why can't a console game get Queen?(save the original Guitar Hero)

No Rush again? Are they HMX exclusive? And don't say they aren't guitar heavy enough, La Villa Strangiato and Freewill own many of those songs.

I read The Darkness, then I was like "this can't get worse..." only to see Fall Out Boy!

But Weezer is awesome, and Buddy Holly is one of my favourite songs.

Damn, there are some pretty good songs on there... Why is this not on console? Why the hell do people want to buy this for their DS? What is wrong with people?

Nice there is Queen on this list. Why didnt we get queen on WT?

Its not a console game, so some people (me included) would be interested in the idea of taking some of the songs they liked from RB and GH anywhere with them.

Plus the casual audience this is mainly aimed at may not even have a home console.

They NEED I believe in a thing called love in either rock band or GHWT right now! Best song and band ever!

Or you can just buy Rock Band and play like 1/3rd of those songs there.

Damn, this track list is better or comparable to the full World Tour game. I Hope this all come as DLC to the full versions.

And why the hell didn't we get Red Hot Chili Peppers on world tour? (Especially after their drummer was in the drum trailer helping test them)
