There is additional video of the single player game available now, it looks even better than the trailer above. This one goes into detail of the Sub-Zero vs Batman and Raiden vs Superman fights.

Man this game looks awesome, I was excited from the first gameplay preview. Too bad I'm spending my money on emergence day 2.

I think the story makes sense and even kinda complements the Mortal Kombat mythos, with realms trying to merge together, BUT now that it has gone from a Mature game to Teen...I may make this a rent and not a buy. I am very disappointed in Midway the "creators" of the ESRB and now they conform to sell a few more copies?!! Maybe they should look at the sales figures for the year and take note of Halo 3, GTA IV and COD 4...all "M" rated games.
