If "Come Together" isn't a part of this game it probably wont be worth it lol :) jk but that is a big selling point i doubt they would not include that song

I read they can pick 45 songs. I bet at least a couple of them come as DLC for RB2. Kind of like a tease to get people interested/excited to buy the new, full game.

Stop talking shit; you obviously have no damn clue about The Beatles' catalogue. You only name Eleanor Rigby from Revolver, one of the best Beatles albums, and I Am the Walrus as good songs but it stops there for you. I can tell you that there's more to The Beatles than those two songs, and in my opinion way better ones.

That said, I'm a huge, huge Beatles fanboy and since we're on the topic of The Beatles, who is your favourite band member? Mine would be Ringo Starr or George Harrison, then Paul McCartney and then John. I don't really like John because he was such an ass when he and the rest left the band. Oh, and we mustn't forget about the very first of the integral pieces of The Beatles formation; Pete and Stuart (R.I.P.)

Wow... talking shit?? I believe post said to comment on what songs you would like. I said what songs I would like. A whole game of Beatles songs just doesn't appeal to me, because I'm not a huge Beatles fan.
There is no reason to overreact (although I realize it is the trend on blogs and forums like this) and rip into people that have different tastes than you.
And, just a little jab... don't the Beatles advocate giving peace a chance, maybe not being unnecessarily hostile?

Yes, The Beatles do advocate peace but that doesn't mean people who listen to them have to follow their beliefs, although I do advocate it. Sorry about talking smack to you, but it's just that The Beatles is a touchy subject for me and probably other hardcore fans, especially when their work is being used by others, like Harmonix. They've been jabbed by a lot of people this generation by saying that their music sucks and that they have no musical talent, and compare them to such songs like Obla-Di Obla-Da, which I think there's much more to that. As an example, I have yet to find a good bassist this generation that matches Paul McCartney's playing style; I think he's the best since sliced bread, and he can play such amazing bass lines (see: Taxman), although it's a bit weird because my username is dedicated to a a great bassist and multi-instrumentalist as well. I know music is most likely the most subjective thing ever, and unfortunately I fall into that trap quite often.

Her Majesty, please.
Some early covers, Roll Over Beethoven, Money, Chains.
The German Years DLC could be "The (Pete) Best of the Silver Beatles"
For the Benefit of Mr. Kite.

Actuall they was out the same time The Beatles were out. What exactly is The Beatles if not considered a boy band? Before you start to put down Americans do some research or you just come off looking ignorant.

are you really trying to compare the Beatles to the monkees? a group manufactured for a tv programme who didn't even write their own material to the most influential band of all time.

Of course I know who The Monkees are ! I was using a thing called wit , in fact its The Monkees not The Monkeys , the guy was just having a little laugh and a wind up by saying the Beatles copied them to get a reaction , I knew he'd be an american so I was just winding him back up , no need to get your knickers in a twist and start burning the English flag or anything !
You have made yourself look a right numpty there kentawilson ! I suggest taking a course in reading properly or maybe a sense of humor class !!
It's so easy to make a proper plonker of yourself otherwise .

Michael Jackson must really want neverland back, which is why he is finally exploiting his ownership of all the beatles music, for so long it was sacred, and available to those who cared who went out and looked for the albums i, for those memorable classics.. all of a sudden this Beatlemania, sadly they are being sold out...

Revolution 1,
Helter Skelter
I me mine
come together

Oh yeah... did you all know that the reason michael Jackson owns so much beatles music is simply because his good friend paul McCartney told him it would be a Great Idea to invest in music...

I thought Michael Jackson lost most all the rights to the Beatles music in January of 2008?

Didn't SONY buy the rights from Michael Jackson for some unbelieveable amount (more than Michael paid for it) in January 2008??

SO that Michael Jackson can pay off some of his debts

I'm pretty sure Jackson lost control of their music to SONY this year and that's why we're seeing exciting stuff like this!

I've been dreaming of this since I heard the news.

Being a mega-fan I'd probably spend too much money on accessories for the game. I think they should ad some additional instruments like a tambourine or maracas for the game. or possibly a keyboard. Some of their best songs will be hard to represent without a keyboard for piano parts.

I'd be hard pressed to pick 45 myself but in addition to whats been said I really wish for the following:

Old Brown Shoe and Don't Let Me Down would be fantastic to play but were never on albums (DLMD on let it be naked though)

I've Got a Feeling(Oh how I really hope)
Get Back (Truly, without this one they will have failed)
Day Tripper
Roll Over Beethoven (although a cover)
Sgt Pepper opening
Magical Mystery Tour (great bass line!!)
And Your Bird Can Sing
Flying (would be a lot of fun i think)

I hope they come out with different style guitars too. Like a Rickbacker.

Can't Wait!

They'd better have Help, man. That's one of my favorite songs.

But only 45 songs? How are they gonna pick only 45 songs? That's only a fraction of their stuff.

In no particular order

While My Guitar Gently Weeps - No Doubt
All My Loving
Taxman
Here Comes The Sun - Personal Favorite
Strawberry Fields Forever (?) - Not a lot of "Rock Band" instruments here
She Came In Through the Bathroom Window
Revolution
I Me Mine

Lots of George Harrison and Paul McCartney pieces, Lennon's pieces were abstract with orchestras and Starr's.... well... unless Yellow Submarine or I Get By made appearances...
