I really want the Metroid Prime games with Wii controls. Well the first two. And it would be awesome if they came out with like a Metroid Prime trilogy box set or something.
Does anyone have any idea what kind of price tag these things are going to be running? My guess is around 30 bucks. Charging more than that for games that you could probably pick up used for like ten bucks wouldn't be that great of a game plan. That, and I want to be able to justify to myself buying some of these games.

It would really be neat seeing the classics of yesteryear with motion controls, especially since most of Nintendo's greatest games were on the gamecube.
I don't know why I voted no, I guess I must have pissed myself off when I died on the Salamander boss on Final Fantasy III XDD

I would lol if Nintendo remade Melee for the Wii. No matter how stupid it is, I'll probably buy it again. XD

Both points are correct. The Wii remakes of GCN games that used a mouse-like pointer, like the Pikmins or Metroid, will benefit from the free-motion style of the Wii controller. However, the games like DK: Jungle Beat and Mario Power Tennis, are going to suffer from control issues, because there was never anything particularly wrong with the control scheme to begin with.
We already have proof that DK:JB is going to have problems with the failure of DK Barrel Blast, a game that was designed from the ground up to utilize the DK Bongos but had the control scheme changed just for the sake of Wii functionality. The result was imprecise controls, which added insult to injury to the already mediocre game. Perhaps if the bongo functionality was kept in as a secondary control option, there would have been basis for Nintendo to continue pushing the peripheral and maybe we'd all be playing Donkey Konga 3 right now with downloadable content, but that's just wishful thinking from apparently one of the only people who enjoyed the game.
