It's Halloween! Besides being the one day of the year that your Red Power Ranger costume doesn't upset the neighbors, it's also a day where benevolent video game companies drop delicious discounts into your eager pillowcase. Take Old Man Sony for example, who's slashed prices on his digitally distributed survival-horror update, Siren: Blood Curse, from now through November 6th.
Want to buy the whole game? That'll cost you just $30, down from the usual $40 asking price. Already have one or two of the three available episode bundles? The rest will only cost $11 each, down from $15. Not interested? That's fine, but it's still better than the pamphlets on teen abstinence being handed out down the block.

I preferred the new Silent Hill to what I played of this (1st 4 Chapters,) personally. Siren was definitely good enough that I want to finish it, but with all the AAA stuff out there now, there's no way in hell I'm even going to think about that for a loooong time.

As much as I want to play it, I'm not sold on digital downloads. I want a box, disc, and manual, thankyouverymuch. If they're gonna cheap out in the distribution, they need to cheap out on the prices too.

i bought the whole set when it first came out. still haven't finished it. it's quite fun, the controls add to the odd world your in. making it more confusing actually helps elevate the sens of looming fear. but it's also not the best game ever. dead space and silent hill are creepy and have those eerie atmospheric elements, not that this doesn't. but if u like creeping around in the woods and confined spaces, while zombie like Japanese roam around moaning and groaning (and still working the fields) then go get her.

I downloaded the whole set when it released and was very happy. At $30, it's now even more of a steal for a game that generally takes 12 hours to beat. My biggest problem with the game was not it's 9GB requirement(I upgraded my hard drive awhile ago) but the fact that every chapter has to be installed individually, so you have to do ALL 12 SEPARATELY, even though they merge and only one icon remains. Now that Sony has the "Shutdown after download feature" you could download all 12 at once and it would automatically get installed, but when the game launched this didn't exist so it was a pain in the ass.
