I think is could be realy cool, depending on how it will be implemented. Anyway, I also think it will lead to a lot of rather uncreative but pretty naughty minigames ;)

It all depends on how robust they decide to make it. I doubt you'll be able to make anything resembling, say, 9-Volt's Starfox boss game from Smooth Moves. To be fair, though, WarioWare's never been about being complex; the original GBA game is still fun after all the sequels, and all we had to make do with back then were a primitive CONTROL PAD and BUTTONS. We'll see to what extent the creator makes use of its breathing room.

I'm not the greatest WarioWare fan but making my own games, transferring them back and forth between the Wii, does sound appealing. I would have to see how limiting the tools are. But, as can be seen with Miis, even with a limited palette relative greatness can still be achieved. You're only hampered by the amount of time you're willing to invest, and your innate creativity.

I agree with Bowser. I've never really been interested in Wario Land, but add a DIY function, and i'll probably go for it

We shall see, however. If its yet another distraction to be placed on the glorious platter of 2009, it may get hedged out

limitations and parameters usually lead to higher levels of creativity... people are generally overwhelmed and intimidated by the vastness of unlimited possibilities and end up doing nothing.

It's a start. But what I want to see are apps that actually works, not ones that are for play. I know Nin don't want DSi to compete for iphone (because they would be steamrolled.) but I do! DSi is only a pinch shy of being a full organizer + music player + video player + internet browser + a whole host of other things. To stop short of that is a crime!
