The release date is rapidly approaching for Valve's cooperative zombie shooter Left 4 Dead and to prep us, they just released a video showing off the game's opening cinematic. This four and a half minute video is expertly crafted, but we don't think we have to tell you that Valve can put together a good cinematic. Bonus points for the use of the sobbing witch, because she totally creeps us out more than any of the zombie forms. Scary old hag. Oh, and we have to ask ... do we run or do we shoot? Run or shoot?

This looks so sick, I want it so bad, but i just know i'll still be playing gears 2 24/7.....i won't have time to play it....same reason i'm not buying farcry/fallout/fable/just realized they all start with F.........i'll get it eventually cause it looks awesome...

That was... SO AMAZING!!! Seriously, Valve needs to make a whole movie like that. Their animations and lighting looked really good, and the camera movement was fantastic. Can't wait for this to come out!
