Well considering that Infinite Undiscovery and Tales of Vesperia weren't exactly the barndoor busters that Microsoft had hoped for, I am seriously wondering what RPGs that they are going to bring that wont be dissapointments.

A Just Cause 2 game that is 100 times better than Mercenaries 2 would be nice,and Prey 2 would be cool. Aliens: Colonial Marines not being canceled,delayed again, or just a poor quality game,would be great.

@LilTmac2003: You are an idiot. While I am all for comparable examples, your's is so one sided. For one, you add in an extra dualshock when both consoles come with one controller. Second, you are not taking the extra 20gb into consideration, and believe me 60gb is not enough. So removing the DS3, 406 < 442 but at least I get an extra 20gb with a reliable system not to mention the option of replacing the hard drive. As for the games, both consoles have really great exclusive games (GOW, Fable, Halo) v. (Resistance, LBP, MGS). Saying the PS3 has no games was a valid arguement in 2006/early 2007 but it is no longer an issue.

Honestly, I would really like to buy an xbox but the fact that the RROD is still not resolved (my brother just got it after 1 year) makes me hesitate.

I just can't wait for GoW2 and NXE. I am not thinking what is next just yet. Still haven't played through and bought everything in Fable II yet either.

I don't fully understand how these comments turned into a flame war when the article really has little to do with claims of one system being any better than the other. It was just talking about surprise announcements that Microsoft has in store for us next year. I think it would be best to stay on topic and just talk about the games you want to see released next year or announced at least. I for one want to see a sequel to Conker, I figure an announcement for Gears 3 by the end of the year to keep with the on and off again Halo/Gears synergy they've been running this gen. Alan Wake better be out by this time next year or I will have lost hope for it entirely. A new Knights of the Old Republic and not the MMO would be nice. Mass Effect 2 would be a no brainer for EA, the question remains as to platform statis though. Non game related would be Microsoft releasing a larger hard drive and replacing then arcade's memory unit with a 20gb hdd, putting the 120 on the pro and have the elite live up to the name with a 320gb drive. With only 60gb of space, inclusion of an hdmi cord and color differentiating the pro and elite I see this as at least possible. Especially seeing as the NXE has game installs...it's the most sense for us and Microsoft if they want people to be downloading things from marketplace also. I can't see someone with a 256mb memory unit buying all that many arcade games or even themes. Or they could go all communist on us in a good way and introduce a new feature to use any hard drive in the next dashboard update....only time will tell. Seriously though guys try and stay on topic.

I was wondering why all these sony f*cktards are posting here, but then I remembered they do nothing but troll 360 sites because they have no games to play.

Its really depressing seeing all tis fanboyism coming up again. I stopped posting here about a year ago because i was sick of it and it all seems to be happening again. I have all the consoles. in fact i havnt missed out on a major console since importing a famicon all those years ago, and I can say for a fact that the 360 gets miles more play. But i dont get the urge to tell people on the Sony sites so why do they come here?

I can only presume that it is cos of a certain game which is about to drop and Sony fans are getting sand in their vaginas about it.

I tend to have a favourite console of each gen, but anyone who seriously thinks that the PS3 is on top this generation doesnt have a clue what they are talking about. Because it is very very obviously a big fat failure!

MGS4 anyone? It's that or another Sony 'exclusive' that's coming to the Xbox. That's why they haven't announced it yet :)

more surprises in 2009? evidence please! if not then i'm not buying it. also PS3 may have a small amount of games but whatever it does have is almost ALWAYS better then the games i've played on the 360. plus PS3 controllers are ALOT more easier to play with then 360 controllers.
