What is disappointing is that now every band will want the royal non-compatible treatment. This is a MISSED OPPORTUNITY for Apple Corp. They would have maximized their audience by making the songs straight DLC; a game with exportable songs would have been next. But a game without exportable songs? What young person who is not already a Beatles fan is going to plunk down $60 on a 40-year-old band? Personally I like the Beatles, but then again I'm 40. They have taken an awesome opportunity and, as usual, triad to exert too much control, effectively killing it. Those people who buy this game will ALREADY have a bunch of Beatles albums. You are not going to generate album sales by catering to established fans who already own the Beatles songs they are interested in.

Yeah! I don't have to buy it. Beatles suck balls anyway, even more so now.

Apple CORPS (the S! the S!). This is The Beatles distribution arm. Has absolutely nothing to do with Apple Corporation, which is Steve Job's cash cow.

Stop whining. I would like RB exportability. But I will happily take it over nothing, or even over it being Guitar Hero branded frankly.

Apple (The Beatles) are looking for something beyond a "me too" approach. The Beatles are legendary, and the rights holders keep those rights VERY close to them (same as Zeppelin.. minus the Cadillac ads... I dunno what happened there.) They were obviously lookin for someone willing to do the brand justice. There's so much about The Beatles beyond just the music, there's almost a culture about them, or at least the 60's and their involvement in general. They're very deserving of a focused project.

Which I hope after the game has it's run, I can then import the songs into the RB platform.

But I would agree, GH: Aerosmith was stupid, and sadly due to Metallica's involvement with RB, and their obvious withdrawl, I'm not happy about GH: Metallica either since they obviously went the cash-money route and GH has yet to prove it's any sort of a platform.

I have over 250 songs on RB now and no end in sight to the flood stopping. This is what's important. Rock Band is still a platform.
