If an alien invasion ever were to actually happen, what would you do? Would you resist like the brave folk seen in this trailer or would you just run away? These are questions you'll have to ask yourself when it's time to confront Resistance 2 this week. You've only got a day to mull it over before taking on the fight for freedom tomorrow, November 4.

I played the beta and I just can't really get into the game. I like the fact that you can see the points you are getting when you hit enemies and all but as far as the guns and game play goes its not my thing. I may pick up the PsP resistance game since i loved the syphon filter games.

Last time I looked, the public beta only had online Cooperative and standard MP.
I honestly enjoyed R:FoM multiplayer more than R2's but the Cooperative is insane and highly addictive.
It is sad that more and more people are only looking into the multiplayer of games and not the plot and immersive feeling you receive when playing through a Campaign.

Agreed. I liked how it somehow managed to be scary and funny at the same time... or is that weird to think it was funny?

I gotta give Sony a bit of credit for that one, a very nice improvement in advertising from previous attempts. Just one note, they probably should have cut the quiet yard scene (i.e. pop barbecuing) a bit shorter and included more footage of the game toward the end. Otherwise, awesome. Still don't own a PS3 unfortunately, I'll just stick to my PSP I guess.

I enjoyed the demo of the first game. It took me 3-4 tries to get into enjoying the game play in the Resistance 2 Beta. I'm totally sucked in now, I played it all Saturday. I'll be getting it or putting in on my Christmas list.

Obama and McCain are terrible people. The Democratic and Republican parties have had an iron yoke locked on American politics over the past century and a half. If we are to have hope for real change we need to change the political system, not buy into it. I suggest voting for Ralph Nader tomorrow. If Dem's or Rep's face losing to a third party they might actually get their acts together and start serving the American people rather than the elite.
I find it hilarious how Obama says "I'M GOING TO CHANGE THIS COUNTRY" and people go ape**** and think he has a Midus touch that will instantly turn any broken thing he touches in Washington into gold. He's just another mainstream politician speaking his sugar coated lies and false promises. I think that "Cult of Personality" by Living Colour should be the them song for the Obama campaign.

I don't think it really matters which one of these "people" wins.
But McCain is the lesser of two evils.
I can see that this is now the best that (what used to be America) can offer.
If McCain does not win,
I am going to pull my Swiss citizenship card, and watch this "change" that Obama bin Bedin are offering tear this once great country apart... Hell in four years China will own the USA anyway.
Anyway
THIS GAME IS AWESOME!
I got too into the demo... So addictive!
This commercial was OK... but I would still like to see more game play!

I believe this is the UK advert as the game at the end is the game case PLUS it has the PEGI game rating.. I dont think america has that?

Good trailer. Should have more game footage though.

hmm, I actually like the "We must rise. stand. resist." commercial much better than this one. Though I did think it was odd that the commercial, being all international in flavor, ended with a stain pattern in the shape of the US. Meh.

After that viral marketing campaign this is just pitiful. Why not utilize some bit-sized chunks from the viral with Katee Sackhoff. (Not that I've seen them all, but still... Starbucks.)
Can you use any air vehicles in R2? That Warhawks demo kind of pulled me in.
