Definitely getting this one. Can't wait.

Am I the only one who really liked Star Wars Demolition? Really?

No, I liked it as well. One of the few PS1 titles I played constantly during the end of that generation, along with GTA 2 and various Need For Speed games.

worst possible timing for this gem... it'll get swallowed in all the other major releases. I loved this game back in the day though.

I've never played any of this series, but I'm a fan of Need for Speed, San Francisco Rush and the like. Would this be a good use of my abstract Microsoft-branded currency?

fancy running into you here phil

regardless...

v8 was the single best car combat game to ever be released ever. much much much better than TM

i even still listen to some of the songs from v8 from time to time - and the ability to load in v8 levels and play them in v8:2o by switching cds on the ps1 was mindboggling at the time!

I remember enjoying the original on the PS1, but I'm not sure it's something I'm interested in nowadays. The whole demo-derby genre is one that I think is dead for me.

Does this game have the spring weapon from Carmageddon 2? If not, then I'm not interested

Was a very fun game, had it on the N64 and then the second one on the Dreamcast. I remember the level with the car ski lifts and long jump fondly.

I'm getting it also!

GoW2 is coming out on the 7th but I don't think dell.ca will ship it to me until next monday. So I guess I need something to pass the time!

Looking forward to this a lot. I always prefered them over the Twisted Metal games, and it'll be great to play some good old fashioned split screen for a change.

Man I recall on Thursday nights when I use to make list of games for my dad to try and rent for me on Fridays on his way home from work. I clearly recall this title never being in stock when I put it on my list...

Sadly I no longer want to play it. :p But its a good trip down memory lane.

This is a definite must-buy for me. I had the Dreamcast version and found it quite addictive. If only XBLA would come out with CARMAGEDDON...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the Vigilante series appear before the Twisted Metal one? My memory is a little hazy so I might be wrong.

Still, I'll give the trial a bash, but I doubt I'll get the full game.

Ok, whenever I submit questions like these, I instantly think of heading to wikipedia *after* posting.

Silly me, I was wrong.
