Castlevania Judgment lineup suffers from Dracula's Curse

The pair will be joined by Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness' Cornell, who in addition to having to deal with the inevitable ups and downs of being a Nintendo 64-era werewolf, also shoulders the dubious distinction of being perhaps the only fighter to see his in-game appearance actually improve.

Was I the only one who really liked both of the Nintendo 64 Castlevania games?
Yourself @ Nov 4th 2008 9:24PM
I thought they were great and incredibly underrated. Well, other than the fact that they were both the same game. But as long as you only bought Legacy of Darkness, it was great and incredibly underrated. Not to mention it had one of the most original rosters of characters in Castlevania history, none of which have ever been mentioned again. Until this train-wreck of a game, that is.

Legacy of Darkness stands as my favorite game in the series. I loved the characters, I loved the story, but most of all I loved the atmosphere. Its the only game in the series that gave me a really dark and horrific vibe.

I enjoyed them both. ARe they as good as the old titles? Maybe not but standing on there own they were enjoyable games.

I thought pretty much every non-hardcore nintendo fanboy agreed this game was trash. Why it's even getting any publicity now is mind boggling.
Oh and go obama!!!! we're so close!
WRE @ Nov 5th 2008 12:16AM
"We're"?
You Obama supporters are so cute and pretentious!
Mr Khan @ Nov 5th 2008 8:36AM
Even the consensus over at Wii-fanboy is trash
However, in my opinion, if it's not a traditional fighting game (which i find both dull and unplayable) it has to have something going for it

Where is Soma Cruz? I hope him to be an unlockable character.
CJLopez @ Nov 5th 2008 3:26PM
that makes 2 of us, but to happen, i hope they don't redesign him, he is in a anime style already
YonGibbeynater @ Nov 4th 2008 10:22PM
This game is going to suck. Why does Grant look NOTHING like L?
holyice7 @ Nov 4th 2008 10:22PM
I loved the N64 games, and I was happy to hear about Cornell getting in. Carrie also would have been a good choice.
Even so, I'm not too pleased with the way this game is looking...*cough*forcedwagglecontrols*cough*
Vexorg @ Nov 4th 2008 11:17PM
Three weeks before release isn't too late to cancel this thing, is it?
EMilt @ Nov 5th 2008 1:41AM
I too enjoyed the N64 games. They were alot like the Mega Man Legend series; very underrated. Bring em' all to Virtual Console, please.
snarfoogle @ Nov 5th 2008 6:22AM
I'm sort of looking forward to this game. Will it support Wavebirds or just Wagglemotes?
blerg @ Nov 5th 2008 10:00AM
so we're still hating on this game? is that it?
Mr Khan @ Nov 5th 2008 11:07AM
It's kinda like the opposite of the Soul Calibur Legends debacle. What should have been a fighting game became an adventure game, and what should be an adventure game has become a fighting one
