Capcom has released new character art by Shinkiro for the newly-announced characters in Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes. Despite Shinkiro's history, Viewtiful Joe, Ippatsuman, and Saki bear little facial resemblance to George Clooney at all.
They also released the above image, which will be used as the boxart for the Wii release of the 2.5D fighter. It's totally classic Shinkiro, semi-realistic, detailed, and -- yes, vaguely reminiscent of the star of Ocean's Eleven. We like how it's cleverly laid out to fit the Wii box: Viewtiful Joe, standing atop the PTX-40A, fills the narrower part of the white "Wii" band that will go at the top of the box.

So? It's not like a fighting game is a real toughie to import
Could be my first ever import, but i'm waiting for something to really just grab me by the balls and scream "buy!"

This is going to be amazing!
It's sad that Marvel vs. Capcom 2 won't be on the wii's virtual console or at least on a disc. I guess I stuck getting a used dreamcast(only thirty bucks used) and mvc 2. Having MvC2 and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom on the wii would be awesome.
But yea importing this game is worth it since it's probably not going to be the same here in the states when and IF the U.S. ends up getting the game.
Thank You Gecko OS and homebrew :-)

MvC2 will, however, becoming to the PSN Store and XBLA, apparently. I'm thankful I'm a Wii60 owner. Online MvC2 would be freaking awesome. And the fact that it's even coming means that Camcom must've dealt with the legal issues they they were having with Marvel, so we could potentially see a MvC3.
Too bad if it does exist, it won't be out in time to be put face-to-face against MKvsDC... and slam its face into the mud.

Homebrew is a lot safer to play import games then modding the system with a mod chip.
This is because the homebrew community knows what they are doing and take careful steps to reserve any homebrewing that you do.
The only thing would be nice is when they figure out a way to easily run the japanese shop channel and to be able to run japanese channels or any region.
It would be ideal if nintendo would just update or offer a update to make consoles region free for disc based games and if people want to use japanese channels. But this won't happen in the lifetime of the wii. Maybe the next console offers nintendo can have region free off the bat like the PS3. The DS is region free without any homebrew modding(Which was nice for playing rhythm tengaku gold)
Overall, homebrew won't mess up you console just to play japanese games.

Holy crap, Viewtiful Joe! When was he announced? I can't believe Capcom would put in a Clover character!
What do I have to do to get a Japanese game to run on my Wii? I so want this!
