Maybe it's just wishful thinking on our part, but November actually seems like it'll be a little bit easier on the pocket book than last month. Even if you count the biggies like Resistance 2 and EndWar that already hit us this week, it's still less taxing than October. Don't get the wrong impression though, your rent is still going to go unpaid for the second month in a row.
As always, we ask that you take a look through the list and let us know which of the releases you'll be picking up.
[Update: We've made a few additions, thanks to everyone for pointing out the MIA titles.]

DC v MK is actually being very well received by the gaming industry press. One of the major changed being made is the removal of overly long combo button chains

I definitely have to disagree with you. I thought it was quite fun and a breath of fresh air. Based on the loading screens, it looks like the combat gets pretty crazy later.
I'll be picking up Mirror's Edge and Gears of War 2 this month. Maybe Banjo Kazooie on XBLA.

Way to miss the point champ. Fighting is supposed to suck, as you are meant to avoid combat at all costs.

I thought it was the most refreshing demo I've played this entire generation thus far.

I don't see how the combat was bad. Press LB and RT to kill. Pretty simple really...

@Khan
You can believe that if want, but I still sya they're bad. I don't usually like where you can't jump, but I can put up with it if the game really doesn't need it (e.g. Dead Space). But the problem with your argument is that survival horror games like RE and SH will not be broken by having more FPS like controls. Plus, you're talking about Mario. He's more to the cartoon side of things. Game like RE and SH are supposed to have "real" people in them. So they should be able to move like real people... especially in the case of RE where the characters are trained spec-ops military. I think Dead Space is the perfect example of how things should be done. RE is outdated and has been for quite a few years.

Just Banjo and Sonic for me.
Might get Tomb Raider, although it'll be the Wii version, mostly because I want to pay as little as possible for it.
...I really don't like TR games, but it's a series that I just keep on buying and playing anyway, for some stupid reason.
Also, SPRay comes out this month. It looks very promising.

It's to bad you didn't learn your lesson from the last 10 sonic games.

I'm picking up Gears of War 2 only. That with Fallout 3 and Fable 2 should keep me entertained for months.

I'm still in the thick of last month's purchases: Saints Row 2 & Little Big Planet.

Ruined Franchise and Failure are both preordered. I'm still undecided on The Most Impressive Game I've Seen This Year and An Undeniably Terrible Game. I think I'll hold off on them for a little while while I try to catch up on my long list of "Why the hell am I playing these old games?!" games.
Fix'd.

Tales of Symphonia 2, also, though i don't quite know what to make of it
I could swear that Sonic Unleashed is November 18, not the 25th. It's Wiki page and IGN both say 18, and the official game page doesn't verify anything beyond holiday 08. Where'd you source that?
I wouldn't be making a big deal, but i have it preordered, and the 25th is the day i leave for home for Thanksgiving, so i'd have a really narrow window to pick it up

considering platform and fighting games are my two favorite existing genres and fpses are near the bottom, this month is actually far worse than last month for me.
im getting tomb raider*, banjo kazooie, sonic unleashed, mirrors edge, mk vs dcu*, and valkyria chronicles.
only game i bought last month was fable 2.

Probably just Gears2 and L4D for me. But we will see where the month takes me. I'm intrigued by The Last Remnant and there's plenty of games I missed. Oh well, at least I got Fallout 3.

Resistance2 doesn't fall this month?? anyways, between that, GoW2, L4D, LBP, LastRemnant, I'll be set for the rest of this year and well into next...
Mirror's Edge demo was okay--need to spend more time with the controls....but will probably rent it along with Banjo...

Gears and Tomb Raider are must buys. I really dug Legend and Anniversary, and the demo for this one is even better.
