I just walked around my local town in the UK to check if any of the nearby shops were selling it early like fools. No such luck :/
Although i have finally found a shop opening for a midnight launch so i switched my pre-order pronto.

Pre-order from GAME and you're pretty much always guaranteed the game on the Thursday before release day.... I'm already on Act 2! :)

I bought Madden 09 at 7-11 for $10/off with a Snickers bar purchase. I tried to tip X3F, but they didn't listen... But that's awesome that you get your games at 7-11!

7-11's in southern California don't sell games unless you consider sracth-offs a game. This must be only in certain markets where they can't make ends meet sell junk food and slurpees.

Yes they do I just checked 3 stores in Torrance, CA and all of them have them game but none are breaking the street date

Also, checked my corner 7-11 here in downtown chicago and didn't have any luck. I'm busy through Monday though so I'm not too upset. It's just fun getting these things early.

it depends what the achievement is. its not like fable 2 if thats what youre asking, like you get the achievement for being there when the other guy does something. You will both get the achievement for completing missions, and for collectibles if you have the same amount regardless of who picks it up.
