7-11 breaking Gears of War 2 street date

We've been receiving many reports that 7-11 convenience stores are selling Gears of War 2 before its November 7 release (hey, that's tomorrow!). Even Penny Arcade's Tycho managed to grab a copy early. We're not sure how wide spread it is, but if anyone out there is eager to get their Gears fix right now, head to your local 7-11 and see if you can't snag a copy. We'd suggest being coy about it, maybe just ask to see what games they have. Once you lay your eyes on Gears of War 2, you might say something along the lines of "hey, that game looks pretty neat. I'll take it, good sir (or madame)." Then casually produce your payment, grab the game, and run like mad.

I preordered mine from my regular stop before work at 7-11 and they would not break the street date. I asked the owner and he said I had to wait untill midnight. It works out good because I dont get off of work untill 12:30 at night anyway and would not be able to make it to any midnight releases.

I don't need to go out and buy one, 'cause I'm winning the one X3F is giving away later today XD

LOL 7-11 should sell it on 11-7. The date is their store name backwards :)

wait'n till tomarrow to get my 1600 point card free with purchase at CC . i can wait another 18 hours or so for it . otherwise if they was'nt offering the freebie i'd be at my local wally with discount card in hand tonight at 11:45pm. They better not run out of either at cc , kinda worried . We all know how cc is...
