More recruits dropped into the Killzone 2 beta

"Look into my eyes ... you will beta test Killzone 2 multiplayer," the above image seems to say. Actually, the text that accompanied it – and went out to lucky PlayStation Underground members – said basically that (without the "Look into my eyes" part).

According to the email – which may be in your spam folder right now – beta testers will be able to play 'round the clock, in addition to participating in scheduled test sessions with production team members from Sony and Guerilla on hand to kill you in an online zone. So, check your email. There may just be a pair of glowing red eyes staring back at you ... or at least a good deal on pet medications.

Yeah, I got the email.
Played it last night. Excellent multiplayer. Its cumbersome and your character feels like his wearing 50 pounds of armor, but the game is extremely good. I will buy it when it comes out for sure now.

I got in the Resistance Beta (dunno if thats special or not) and fell in love with it. I seriously thought it was some of the best I've ever played. Now I dunno about Killzone, I don't like feeling like theres 4 gorillas tied around me when I'm running.

I had the Resistance 2 Beta, as well as the LBP, SOCOM, CoD: WaW, Red Fraction Guerilla, and now this one.

And I might say, this is the funnest multiplayer of them all. Since I played all of them alone, and this one by far made me fall in love with it. I didn't enjoy Killzone 1 that much, but imagine that game in multiplayer and it sounds like it wont work, but it does wonderfully!!!! It is AMAZING for lack of a better word.

The Warzone mode is the best mode ever on a multiplayer game ever. It work like any FPS mode, only its a remix of all FPS modes into one. Every 5 minutes, the game type changes from, capture the flag type, to Team Deathmatch, to one player on your team is the leader and you must ether kill or defend him depending on your side. It has a level up ranking system, which will make it replayable for a while. You can also vote on the next map after every match, so the overall map that has the most votes wins and it the next level. It 32 players, so it never lacks action, even on the huge maps, and it is GORGEOUS!!. Graphics are to be believed. I hate hyping games, but Killzone 2 might pull it off.

Sony always neglects to send me Beta codes. No home Beta, no Resistance 2 beta, no Killzone 2 Beta. On the other hand, I've managed to get into the COD4 and Halo 3 Beta's on the 360.

If love were a Beta, mine love would be white and chrome.

Somehow I've been able to get two beta codes for SOCOM, LBP, R2 and Home. So I guess I can't complain much.

I'm still psyked for Killzone 2 though

Why is it that i never receive a Beta code? I tried for LBP; every chance they gave never got it....... I tried for R2; Never got it..... I tried for HOME never got it. and Now for this I will most likely not get #hit.

Oh but they sure do send me all the other crap that i dont want.

See, here's the trick. Register your games. I have over 300 PSX, PS2, and PSP games and Sony knows about everyone. I also recently breached 30 PS3 games. While I didn't get into Killzone or Home, I've gotten into the other betas, often without asking.
