See what's changed: Gears 2 Flashback Maps video

Sure to be one of the year's standout multiplayer titles regardless of platform, Gears of War 2 officially arrives tomorrow, bringing with it a slew of original online maps and modes – including the superb Horde Mode, which we wrote about last month. In addition to the 10 new multiplayer maps Epic has cooked up for this sequel, all copies of the game will include a free voucher enabling access to DLC of five maps from the original Gears, all of which have undergone some noteworthy design and cosmetic changes.

The Flashback Map Pack should be just the ticket for those wanting to combine nostalgia with the game's various mechanics improvements. Our compadres at X3F have put together a video tour of the revamped maps, showing off changes such as the new iced-over Canals and expanded Tyro Station, from both in-game and new Battle Camera perspectives. Tomorrow can't come soon enough. See what's in store after the break.
