I remember playing the two button arcade version. Those buttons where huge and you basically had to punch them. The game sucked big time, even after having played sf2, so I guess it was overlooked for that very reason.

I had the game and it was awful. I think the soundtrack was decent though.

To add, it was interesting that fireballs and other special moves (accompanied by horribly muffled voice samples) took off nearly half of the energy bar.

I played Fighting Street at the time. Man, how it sucked... Even so, I want it on the VC. It's a Street Fighter, after all.

Horrible play control. Great sound-track. Still have my TGCD copy, but it's only become more painful to play over the years. Going from Smash Bros. to this is a great lesson in how controls have been improved over the years :).

Why mentionning SFIV! It won't be on Wii ever. Talk about rubbish ...
