In our second and final part of our Gears of War 2 multiplayer map preview we take a look at the five remaining maps included on the retail disc. Why do we make this distinction? Well, those of your who purchase a new copy of Gears of War 2 -- sorry rental fans and used game buyers -- will nab five bonus maps. In this view we run through Pavilion, River, Ruins, Security and Stasis and explore weapon placement as well as the environmental effects found in the maps.
Check out our Flashback Map Preview video to check out how those bonus maps stack up against the original versions found in Gears of War and the first part of our Gears of War 2 Multiplayer Map Preview. We're so close to release, we can almost hear the chainsaws.

There's 3 characters unlockable in Gears 2 from Gears 1, along as you have the right achievements.. there's also 3 or 4 to unlock for actually playing the campaign.. y'know, the main bit, not the bolt on..

Did anyone have any problems with inputting one of the promotional codes like the Golden Lancer Assault Rifle?? I bought the Limited Edition and went to the Midnight Launch and went back home and inputted all the codes like the Golden Hammerburst, Map Pack, and Exclusive Theme and when I got to the Golden Lancer and inputted the code, it went to the download screen but didnt download. Who should I talk to about my concerns, Epic or Xbox?? Comments or suggestions cause I wanna pwn noobs with my bling really soon!

Mike when I got my code from gamestop they told me it wasn't good until the 19th, so maybe that is why you cannot download iT?
