Chrono Trigger DS includes new ending

Most people know all about Chrono Trigger. They've tackled the challenges presented in what many would consider one of the greatest games ever made. So, why should those of you who have bested the game in the past pick up the new DS remake? Apparently, it's going to have a brand new ending!

We were already sold on the game when it was announced, being the huge DS and RPG fans that we are, but perhaps this will be enough to get a few of you down from on top of that fence? If not, have you read up on the other new features?

Something else to get this game

The fact that its portable is already sold for me.

Yup! I mean, I've got the PS1 version, and I honestly thought it was great, if not somewhat overrated, but I didn't feel like spending $40 for a simple port, conveniently portable though it may be. A new ending just pushed me over the edge, though.

Imagine if it was a new ending that teased a THIRD Chrono Trigger game!! ...but maybe that's too much to ask?

This, combined with the fact that there is a pre-order goodie, just about makes my freakin' week. I am genuinely EXCITED to get this game!

Considering this is one of my top 5 fav games, I'll pick it up any way they sell it!
1.Castlevania SOTN
2.Final Fantasy 4
3.Chrono Trigger
4.Final Fantasy 6
5.WarCraft 3
We'll see where StarCraft 2 fits into the mix ;)

This isn't completely new to me the latest issue of Nintendo Power (which I have had for about a month) had reported it. Still a good thing though.

Know what else? I heard there's a preorder bonus for this game. I also heard, and KNOW there was a preorder bonus for Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. If only DS Fanboy had reported it, I would have preordered the game. 8|

But, WTF Chrono Trigger had like 50 endings to begin with.
