DS FPS Moon eclipses into January 2009
Publisher Mastiff sent word that the lunar orbit for its Renegade Kid-developed Moon has degraded, knocking back the DS first-person shooter from its previously announced November release date until January 13, 2009. As for the why, Mastiff top dog Bill Swartz tells Joystiq, "Moon is too important a product to rush it out the door, just to make a holiday," leaving us to wait another month before we land on the big ball of cheese looking for things to shoot with the stylus.

Too bad.
I really loved Dementium and have been waiting to try this as a "pseudo-sequel" to that handheld horror. I don't mind waiting an extra two months though, as long as it is worth it.

Was the control scheme in Dementium like it was in the Metroid FPS? Because if it was, and if this game is, then the hand cramps will make it unplayable for me.

im sure my opinion will be different from others who were waiting for this to come out--i am kind of glad it moved over to january:
1. too many other games this holiday season (might get overshadowed)
2. comes out same day as another fps: left 4 dead

Mastiff? The only game that I remember those guys Publishing was La Pucelle tactics. Which was more or less Disgaea prequel. "and where both great!"
For its credit, Dementium could always shock the hell out of me. I say shock because those Medusa fly head things always managed to do so, with that annoying as hell scream of theirs.

Didn't Mastiff censor a lot of the stuff in there release of La Pucelle?
jimmygotsmack @ Nov 11th 2008 1:21AM
They censored all the cigarettes and every thing that had the name, or showed a Cross, or anything biblical. God forbid you have a cross or anything consider holy in a game about Secret Service Demon Slaying Nuns. Changing the name of Hell to the Dark World seemed unnecessary, but none of the actual game play or story suffered. Never the less, they over reacted.

Wow! I'd never heard of this game before, but after hearing about its delay, I looked up a few videos of it. Looks fantastic!
