I'm so glad they stopped putting out such great wiiware. My bank account was going empty.

And I will I had cash to try out Tales of Symphonia. The first one was great

A much better week for retail than last weeks poor affair, but a poor week for download

I really think we're going to be surprised by Lightsaber Duels' performance. Not necessarily critically, but in terms of sales and possibly overall impact

And so WiiWare's golden streak finally comes to an end (I haven't played either of those games, but Gameloft's WiiWare output is generally mediocre and any game with Yummy Yummy in the title is doomed to failure. Plus, I'm a cynical bastard)

It's been a good few weeks though:

September 8: Groovin' Blocks
September 15: SBCGFAP Episode 2
September 22: Mega Man 9
September 29: Bomberman Blast/Art Style: ORBIENT
OK, October 6 sucked ass (Madstone and Midnight Bowling)
October 13: World of Goo/Art Style: CUBELLO (more than makes up for October 6th update)
October 20: Tetris Party
October 27: SBCGFAP Episode 3/Art Style: ROTOHEX
November 3: Alien Crush Returns

Hopefully next week we'll be back on track, WiiWare is in its golden age at the moment!

Hmmm... as much as I loved the ToS, I already put my money down for Banjo Kazooie, a.k.a. the game with 2 pt font. (If you don't know, search the internets... I had no idea what was happening in the demo.) But at least I'm getting my free copy of the original BK! ^^ And, IMHO, as much as I loved ToS, BK wins by far!

Wonder when I can get ToS though, since in 3 weeks I'll be getting Animal Crossing and my Christmas list has already been written and distributed to all those who love me... could get it for my fiancee, but quite frankly she's too impatient to play through RPGs, skips all the battles and then is too low a level for the bosses...

I had no idea Tales of Symphonia was out this week. I think I have a handful of GameStop giftcards - may be worth using for that one. :)

I can only afford one game this month. I had it narrowed down to Mirror's Edge and Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. I decided to get ToS:DotNW because when I got the first one, I played it three consecutive times and Mirror's Edge is apparently only about 7 hours long. That won't last me the month I need it to last. :P

It'll fit nicely in my Christmas list, though. :P I'll probably get a bunch of new games for Christmas so if one of them is really short, it won't be such a bad thing.

WaWii may be crippled compared to the PS360 versions, but it IS an improvement over Activision's previous Wii support.

The only one I'm interested in at all is CoD, but I'll wait and read reviews, especially after how poor Quantum of Solace seems to have turned out.

Tales of Symphonia: DotNW = INSTABUY

Call of Duty: World at War is definite pickup too pending reviews.

Also, there are 5 games up there with the world "party" in the title... wtf.

Not every week can bring us a new WiiWare gem. In fact, it's pretty remarkable the run WiiWare had this fall. I think WiiWare deserves a lot more praise than it receives.

Meh, the only good one is MegaMan 3, and I've already owned a copy of that for about 15 years (and also have it on the MegaMan Anniversary Collection).
