7-11 sells Wrath of the Lich King early

Apparently unhappy with "Operation 72 Oz. Frozen Soda" and "Project Huge Bag of Funyons," 7-11 has launched yet another salvo in the Obesity War: Starting sales of World of Warcraft expansion Wrath of the Lich King early. Our friends over at WoW Insider have received a picture from a fan able to procure a copy of his very own.

We'd take this opportunity to mock them, but we're sure WoW fans are already running to their local 7-11 for the chance to sit motionless for hours at a time, days earlier than their friends. Well, OK, they're probably not running.

I'll never buy another game from 7-11 again. I got a bad Halo 3 disc there on launch day. The owner laughed at me when I wanted my money back two hours later, and told me to return it to Best Buy. The asshole 7-11 owner actually told me go to best buy and buy another game and then return the bad one to them. Luckily an online friend, who knows Major Nelson got me a new disc ASAP.

Oh thank heaven, 7-11!

Doesn't surprise me, My friend bought GoW2 a week before release there.

they also sold Gears of War 2, Quantum of Solace and Smackdown vs. Raw early.
