Doesn't anyone else like the white stripes or am I the only one who thinks it would be extreemly fun to play some of their music?

I believe their newer stuff has a bass line, but I'm not sure how they would manage any of their older material. It would still be fun as hell to play tho.

Does anyone else find it excessive to have to pay $20 for a CD you can only play in Rock Band? I mean, you can buy the actual CD for less than that. I'd rather be able to buy a bundle - say $25 for the CD and RB tracks rather than $20 for just the songs.

And The White Stripes would be fun. Seven Nation Army would be awesome (despite the lack of bassage)

Yes, I do. Hence, I do not buy entire albums. I buy a few songs that I like the most and not think about it too much. That way I do not get depressed because I overpayed for a very limited use song. I only buy songs I really enjoy because if I don't like it, I won't play it and then I wasted my money.

Yeah, $20 may be a bit high, but that seems to be the accepted rate for rhythm game DLC. Most DLC for Rock Band (and now it seems Guitar Hero World Tour too) is about $2 a track, and if you get a whole album (or a pack), you get some amount of discount. That discount varies a bit too.

For example, Dr. Feelgood was $20 for 10 tracks if purchased individually or $16 to get the whole album (20% discount). The Colour and the Shape is $24 for 12 tracks individually, and $20 for the whole album (17% discount).

This is easily their best album, and "Hey, Johnny Park!" is my favourite song. I'll be picking up a few of these tracks individually, if I can ever get my box sent in for RROD repair.

I am such a hypocrite. I complained so much at the price of GH2 DLC, but if I do remember it was closer to $2.50-$3 a song... I don't care to admit how much money I've spent on Rock Band DLC. This album is awesome, I know I'll end up just buying the whole thing. We already have the best song off of it, though. I agree "Hey, Johnny Park" should be one of your first downloads. I would also recommend "Monkeywrench," "Up in Arms," and "My Hero." I really wish that "Walking After You" was the version from the X-Files movie, because the drums are much more fun, but I won't hold my breathe. My Xbox RROD'd, but hopefully I should get it back today or tomorrow (serious RB withdrawal.)

Yeah, but most of the GHII DLC was just covers rehashed from GH1, and only available in non-associated packs. That said, this will be the first week in a long time I'm not getting the DLC day of release. I'm just enjoying GHWT more right now. They want to start adding an achievement to that DLC, I'll be all over it, but until then, I think I'll be putting my money toward GHWT DLC. At least they are still smart enough to have a solo tour...

Oh yeah, not to mention that the AC/DC pack was a severely overpriced bad joke, and the beatles non-rock band compatibility is total bullshit.
