Peter Molyneux: "It's time for the big announcement."

Everyone: *waits*

Peter Molyneux: "So, did you guys know if you choose the Lady Killer perk in Fallout 3 you gain access to completing quests an alternative way? I schmoozed that bug villain chick. Hot sauce."

Everyone: *riots*

Probably DLC or something.

Cool, but not needed yet for me. I'm only about 15 hours in so far and have barely started the main quest, so I've still got a ton of game left to play.

lionhead: great news everyone!!! we are starting to fix all of the problems with our game! you know, the ones that made you restart your game 3 times, then turn it in because you were so pissed at how many glitches were in the game.
me: already got rid of that game, dont care anymore.

It better be the Abbot glitch fix, because I'm sick of Oakfield: get me the hell out of there!

microsoft owns the rights of the game.
MS game studios.

he has no right to move the game anywhere without MS permission. and i don't think they want a great exclusive game on the ps3 for marketing.

They've finished the game!? Was rather disappointed to pay $60+ to be lionhead's beta tester.

Yeah, and I still haven't gotten everything I paid for!

I'm a little surprised to see so many people complaining about glitches. Yeah, there was a few minor things, but I honestly didn't run into a single one on *either* of my play throughs of the game.

The only game ruining one I've heard anyone run into is the Abbot thing. And hey, that's what you get for running away from a character in the middle of a major, main plot related conversation. I'll also point out that, that part of the game is no more than an hour into the game - it's the first frikken quest.

And hey, have any of you guys played Fallout 3? Because it's faaaar worse for bugs/glitches, especially the PS3 version.

I have to agree. When I first heard of this glitch I though it would be towards the middle or end of the game. It's the very first quest and I never understood why anyone would run away during the 1st main story sequence

I actually like exploring the game, so for me, this was about 5-6 hrs into the game. Restarting the game would be a pain because 1) All of my LE Halo armor will not transfer to another character 2) All of the stuff I won from Lionhead's flash site will not transfer 3) I've already transferred money from pub games to THIS character.

Oh, and as to the comment about walking away, the damn abbot started talking while I was outside on a date with somebody. Well gosh, I sure deserve to be locked out of a game's content for choosing to play the way I want to.

Just because you had a good experience, doesn't mean everyone else shouldn't complain. I had to load a previous checkpoint in the spire when Garth got stuck in a wall and locked up a cutscene. My friend had his game fail in childhood when the mother of the girlfriend got stuck on the stairs and the game froze. Another friend of mine loaded his game to find villages carrying chairs around town! His copy has frozen 6 times so far. The lag in menus. The framerate drops during heavy combat and in my game, just walking in the castle. The game breaking glitches. No game should release with these many bugs. I would have rather waited another 2 months if it meant a better overall experience. Even if they release a patch now, I doubt I will go back since I already finished the game and I have other things to play now.

I wasn't claiming the game was perfect, just that the problems are no where near as serious as some are claiming. And also because most people are bashing the game while hyping Fallout 3, which suffers from many of the same problems on a far more serious level.

Real co-op would be the only thing to get me to go back really, would of made the game much longer.

Come on people. Next week, When the New experiance is out? I think it is going to be that you are going to be able to import your new avatar into the game and play with it. Thats what I think.

possibly releasing a version of the game that does not brick 360 consoles? that would be cool.

Since when does a game brick a console? That's just talking bs. The game had glitches.. not a console bricking bug.

I know dude. It was meant sarcastically. Fable II taxed my 360 pretty hard when it was glitching and that's when my xbox 360 decided to bite the dust. I know it was the console and not the game...and yes I was a little bitter... BUT now I'm anxiously awaiting the UPS man to deliver my repaired console! I've been waiting to play Fable II for a while and the extra few weeks are killin me!

How about an actual reason to be good or evil?

Aside from discounts and the ability to laugh :/

This is just Peter Molyneux trying to meet his disappointment quota. Fable II was the first game he's made in ages that isn't that big a let-down.

This "big" announcement, though, yeah, here's his chance to squash hopes again.
