Square Enix dates full Q1 '09 lineup

Dammit! I don't see a Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days in there at all!

Dear Square,

As a PS3 owner who has enjoyed your games on the two previous Playstation systems, I am feeling lonely and dejected. I may have to resort to singing "You Don't Bring Me Flowers Anymore" to you.

Trust me, you do NOT want that to happen. Please advance your PS3 lineup in the near future.

EXCELLENT! Finally DQ5 is released in the US! Preordering when possible.

Square doesn't care about ps3 owners anymore. This is the first time ive seen so many Square RPGs come out and it not be on a PS. I guess sales must have been really bad for square games on ps1/ps2. I have friends who were waiting for square games to buy a ps3. To my surprise they didnt buy a 360 instead they said %*& square for pissing on them.

I wasn't very happy with DQIV when I tried it on DS, so I probably won't play V either. Hopefully the Star Ocean games are good.

Wait, I though the new Crystal Chronicles game was coming out early next year.

actually i have invested quite alot into the snes ps1 and ps2 games. So sorry if i feel strange that the ps3 isnt that far away in unit sales from the 360 yet they clearly arent making the games i want on my system or having that timed exclusive crap. Then FF which was supposed to be exclusive is delayed because its going to the 360 as well. We still dont know what sacrifices have been made to the over game for this accommodation. The install base argument is crap, the hard to program argument is crap. They want to make money , nothing wrong with that. but Infinite undiscovery, i was looking forward to that game, its out for the 360, it barely sold anything in japan , infact the 360 install base is greater in the us but it only sold slightly more in the us than in japan. You solidify your base then you expand. Why didnt they multiplat this game. If they are so into increase profit why is the 360 getting these exclusives and timed exclusives ? I really dont care if the 360 or the ps3 gets a game, what i care about is i can play the game on my ps3, that its made to take full advantage of its hardware and that it isnt delayed or watered down for the ps3 to please the 360.

I am sorry if that offends anyone. By the way i have a 360 elite, but i only rent games for it and i only purchased it to play mass effect and halo 2.5 I have no intention of renting and purchasing any square enix game for that system.

Also square enix has brand recognition and a certain level of good will, they owe that status to there past works and to the fans who supported them by buying there product. So to say they dont owe anyone anything is a joke. They might not personally owe me something tangible but i expected them to still make there software available on a platform they historically supported, on a platform whos predecessor they owe some of there success to.

Gah, no Kingdom Hearts.
