Were you able to go to Insomniac's Community Day? Don't worry -- neither were we (California's far away!). For those that weren't able to make it, the PlayStation.blog has a new video highlighting events from the day's activities. Obviously, a lot of Resistance-themed talks were at hand, as various members of the Insomniac Games team shared their studio to their loyal fans. This outreach shows why Insomniac Games is such an incredible studio.

It is one of the best CEs that I've ever seen. I was shocked when I opened the Chimera figure. Lots of detail. The Bluray has some great features on it. The weapon skin is kind of a let-down, but it at least looks good. The art book has a great look and the prints inside are high quality. Great for a coffee table.
One of the first times I felt like I got my money's worth out of a CE or LE.

Ted Price is one classy individual running a very classy company. This is a great way to honor your fanbase and I hope they do more events like this thru the year.

Insomniac are so under-rated, such great guys. There are other developers who won't even directly talk to you on their forums and such, get some other monkey just to pass on messages.
But the guys at insomniac seem to do really care about what they do, infact it is hard to find a studio that sony are in partnership with or own that do have an uptight team.
Whereas you see other studios under big publishers such as EA and Activision being all "hush-hush" and not getting to know their community at all, we seriously do not give sonys first and second party developers enough credit for what they do and have done.

off topic - Why is no one on here talking Endwar? It's possibly the most awesome game there is right now! I've got brilliant games sitting in their boxes because I just can't get enough of the Theatre of War! - is no one at PS3 voice controlling their forces to victory?
It's a persistent online world war three people!!! Come on!

Based on the demo, i liked endwar and thought it was fresh and liberating. HOWEVER, it didnt like my voice much, it kept missenterpreting my orders, and then my corrections! i wish the game well as i think it deserves it, however i wont be picking it up due to those issues.

Fair do's. The voice command is a bit of a bugger. I didn't try it in the demo, but in the full game I reckon it's 90% accurate.
It's useful the way it shows what it's recognised, so you don't hev to repeat whole orders, just the bit it missed.
I find i can bark orders fairly quickly and it get's them 90% of the time.
Even without the Voice Command I still think this game is amazing! It's the Theatre of War, really engrossing. This morning I was late for work just because i had to see how yesterdays fighting changed the world map. Theatre of war is like crack!

Why blank that comment? - I didn't like R1 or R2 either.

Yes...rather pathetic that I get m comment blanked for quietly and politely stating that I did not enjoy R2.

Nope, I wouldn't mark you down, but I wouldn't blank your comment either.
Just thought it was a bit mean.
