Following up on a previous story, we can now tell you that the bidding on the most virile lawn ornament this side of the Apocalypse ended last night. The Sam's Club auction for a 7'10" (2.38 meter) tall, 121 lb. (54.9 kilo), "Brotherhood of Steel" statue concluded with a winning bid of $2,507 (which includes free shipping).
A part of us is curious as to who bought it, and another wants to see the statue once it arrives in its new home. But then, we start picturing it next to the winner's collection of life-sized Star Wars figures from The Sharper Image and the whole thing just gets creepy.

I would gladly spend that much if you could actually wear the armor.

I also came to post my ponderances about wearing the armor, but I probably wouldn't have much luck wearing armor from a nearly-8-foot-tall statue. Subtracting hat little pedestal probably doesn't help much.

This is my fiance that won this (NOT Mike) and it's a cool addition ... and when he works as hard as he does, he can buy whatever the heck he wants ...
