The new client should be downloaded automatically when you log into any GFW-Live enabled game. Otherwise you can download the redistributable from here: http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-US/Support/Pages/technicalIssuesGuide.aspx Hope that helps

but if it requires a Live game to access, are you saying I can't use this service for non-live GFW games such as Bioshock? WTF is the point of GFW if it only works for online multiplayer games?

You can download the redistributable, but you can't use it without a GFW game, so why download? This is intended for people with GFW games, RTFM!

Why all this crap about PC vs Console? I play both, the only real advantage is the mouse, and skilled players on a console can overcome that and it becomes an even playing field. Can't we all just enjoy the fact that we all love games?

If you're here to whine at console players or vice versa, go play with the other kids on MySpace and let the big boys do the talking here.

I suggested the redist because the auto update doesn't always work as it should.

A step in the right direction, but it's still got a long way to go.

The old system really did look awful now that you can see the comparison.

Checked it out last night with Fallout 3, and I love it. Much better looking, quicker, and more mouse friendly.
