That was almost exactly what I was going to put, but since that is taken, I'll co with another one.

How does it feel to know that the love you pretend to feel is actually from a bunch of soccer moms who don't give a flying shit about video games, and don't know any better?

How does it feel to know that the love Nintendo used to feel has almost completely vanished, and you are the one headlining this?

also,

Does your kid love you as much as Cammie's, or does yours "love you more than that"?

Why is the online experience such a mixed bag on the Wii? Super strikers had really smooth internet play but Smash brothers is awful.

When are friend codes leaving?
When is real voice chat coming in?
Do you plan on competing with Xbox live? If not, why not?

I doubt Nintendo has any plans at all of being anywhere near as big in online play as the 360 is. After all both consoles appeal to different crowds. PS3 is for older gamers, 360 is sorta the middle ground IMHO, and the Wii is for kids.

I agree, this is a MUST question. Why is it that even some first party games have very basic online. And even the important franchises have not been cared for.

Hudson Soft was given Tetris Party and it doesn't compare in any way with Tetris DS.

Take a little more care Nintendo.

Nintendo definitely needs to neaten up their strategy, and probably will by the next generation, but they are probably never going to offer anything as cohesive as LIVE in its current emanation, since they don't feel any obligation to use online play to build a community, they just want a point a to point b sort of experience

How will the DS Lite owners fair when the DSi comes out? What I mean is, if a game uses the cameras for are the DS Lite owners out of luck until they upgrade? Probably a yes but still a question.

I was just going to ask that same question. I mean F-Zero X came out on the N64, so why didn't come out on the Wii? or even the DS?

Just call it F-Zero DX or whatever.

After F-Zero GX I'd definitely prefer a Wii version to a DS one. The sense of speed just wouldn't be the same on the DS.

They have no control over that haha. What you should ask is when are they going to stop accepting all of the shit that they allow on their system. They have full power to swat all of that shit down.

Yes, yes. I understand that I should have made some sort of distinction. Unfortunately, there is no edit button, and I realized only after I'd accepted the post.

You want a better phrased post?

When is Nintendo going to work with third-party developers that can release worthwhile games for the Wii that are not ports?

About two months ago

Where were you when Sega/High Voltage/Capcom said repeatedly in interviews that they were getting quite a bit of assistance from Ninty themselves?

tmacairjordan87 said it better:

I don't know the extent that that's true, but I would like some sort of quality control.

Never!!!!

Publishers need to pay money to Ninty to release games for their console. So denying games is losing money. And we know big N loves money. Hence, we'll still be getting shitty games, as long ninty keeps on getting more money

@tmacairjordan87

Gamers and the industry need to make up their fucking minds. First it is too hard and quality controls are too strict which prohibited the vast influx of sub-par games. Now we have far to many sub-par games because Nintendo is under new rule and is trying to appease the industry and everyone bitches.

Seriously complain about something new for once.

I want to know why Nintendo has forsaken the core gamer and the hardcore Nintendo fan. I have bought every Nintendo gaming product and up until the Wii I had been satisfied enough, now I'm getting upset. I don't even have my Wii hooked up anymore. I want to love you Nintendo. Just answer me.. Why? Why Nintendo... why?

I don't remember anyone ever complaining about that.

They haven't had quality control since the N64. The Gamecube's problem wasn't completely Nintendo's fault.

It isn't right to say they have NO quality control... I mean, games released ARE guaranteed to work on the system, and not make it explode... Which doesn't necessarily mean it'll be any good, though.

Nintendo shouldn't be as strict in their NES days, but more so than they are now... We need less Ninjabread Man and more No More Heroes.

Seriously, one thing that'll help trim the fat is to block age-old PS2 ports. Not to say ALL ports are bad (see: Okami), but some games that failed the first time DON'T need a second chance (a lot of those "Popcorn Arcade" games were originally on the PS2... only in Europe).

where's the DVD Channel for the Wii?? Homebrew already has one, Wii is opening to new media content, why not give us access to a whole lot of content we already own and get rid of our standalone dvd players? It was mentioned that a Wii with this feature was coming, but it seems this "feature" is included already and just needs Nintendo's approval.

Nintendo figures that since DVD players are so common now, they don't need to bother with paying the licensing fees for DVD playback codecs.

I really can't argue with that logic. I can't think of anyone who doesn't have at least one DVD player in their home (and not like I know any particularly rich people, either...).

Would it be nice? Sure, why not. As mentioned, the homebrew DVDx already allows for DVD movie playback on the Wii.

Nintendo could release an optional update for the Disc Channel that would allow for DVD movies to be played. And they'd probably charge for it to cover for licensing fees (because I seriously doubt they'd do it for free).

How does it feel to have gone from working for a company that was once known for its high pedigree of content and trailblazing concepts to a company that literally survives on stagnation and delivering to the lowest common denominator?

How does it feel that the "Revolution" you so excitedly hyped turned out to be a remote you wiggle around? Where is the revolution? What are gamers supposed to be excited about, Animal Crossing and a DS GTA? That's supposed to absolve you?

A serious question, do you actually play any video games? Do you own any non-Nintendo systems? What are your favourite games of all time? Tell us about your connections to video games that go beyond your corporate ties if you want us to believe for a moment that we should take anything you say about the video game industry at face value, or if you're just another corporate shill.

The last question is one I myself wanted to ask.

About that first question... hey, I thought some of the Wii's earlier first-party offerings (SMG, MP3, TP, you get the drill) were pretty nice.
