It's not completely new, you've seen Sephiroth in Dissidia trailers before and we've told you at TGS that Cloud would be in the game. If you had any doubt, then this scan from Shonen Jump magazine should finally cast off that inkling. Because really, print makes everything official.
While the in-game image isn't the clearest image ever, it still shows off the final Dissidia roster member, Cloud. With all characters revealed and a release in just over a month, all that's left to do now is wait to play. December 18 makes (Japanese) fanboy and fangirl's dreams come true.

Did I miss some updates, or has Utimecia been the only female character in the game? Wonder what's happening to Agitoo, looking forward to it way more than Dissidia

As much as I enjoy Final Fantasy, Dissidia is a fighting game, and I really don't like fighting games at all.
I'm really excited about Agito XIII, but that is an RPG.

This game is said to have a larger script then crisis core, so even though it's a fighting game there should be a lot of story packed in.

Ultimecia isn't the only female character. There's Cloud of Darkness and Terra too.

I like fighting games if I can fight with other players, fighting games are not meant for single player. So if it will not have infrastructure mode and it probably won't, I'm not buying it. But it makes sense in Japan where psp is popular among students thanks to MH, so they can play with each other using ad hoc mode.
