Just in time for Halloween 2009, Sony has revealed six new LittleBigPlanet costumes that will be available tomorrow on the PlayStation Store. While the Sack-Eating Plant will be offered free of charge, the other animal suits (Lilly Pad, Hugo, Great Blue and Frost-E) will cost $0.99 apiece, or $2.99 for all four. Additionally, the MotorStormer gear will set you back $1.99.
These costumes join Spacesuit and Halloween mask, which debuted last week and remain free until November 19. Fear not, Japanese gamers, for your LittleBigPlanet experience also gets an injection of cute this week, with four of the above costumes (all but Sack-Eating Plant and MotorStormer) arriving in tandem with Japanese Sony character Toro.

I love this game, but yeah, no way I will spend more than a shiny dime for freaking costumes...
And as an idiot that bought the horse armor that's saying alot.

Sooooo they had a lot of trouble making the servers run, they had a week's delay over a song lyric, they're deleting levels all willy nilly for no good reason in some cases, but they don't have any trouble asking for more money for silly costumes? Maybe 99 cents for all of them - but not for each of them.... well, maybe the shark.

Superficial DLC is a silly way to spend hard-earned greenbacks, but power to MM and Sony if they can get people to fall for it.
It's even sillier considering the large number of swappable costume parts a stock version of LBP comes with.

Finally a post about LBP, now I can bitch.
Does anyone else think that this game is almost unplayable due to control issues. Seriously its cute and charming and could have been such a great game but the controls are terrible.
I'm constantly accidentally changing the layer im on, every surface feels like its made of ice and the physics engine is so loose its completely unforgiving.
Am I the only who can't believe this game got 95% meta critic, seriously I'm very disappointed by this game. It just went from currently playing to maybe I'll come back to it when I'm done with everything else...its so frustrating and uncontrollable.
that is all....

I went through this game in co-op with someone that hasn't played a single video game since mario on the NES.
She got through it just fine, even bunker and that other army like level. Took her a few tries to get some stuff down definitely but nothing like you just described.

Apart from a few poorly designed user created levels, I've had no problems. Took me about ten minutes to get the layer thing, though. But once I had, it was clear sailing from then on.
Just remember:
- if there's a raised platform in the background when you jump, Sackboy will automatically move back to land on it.
- if the ground on your current layer runs out and you jump forwards, Sackboy will again automatically move back a layer.
- if your war is blocked, Sackboy will move forwards a layer if he can to move around it.
And apart from a few level creators who try to force you to do really precise jumps (and then get voted down by moi) I've had no problems with any floatiness.

Yes, the controls are a disappointment - mainly the jumping and layer switching. The game is certainly overrated on Metacritic, but it's still an incredible and fun experience overall.
