Here's a question for you. What do Gears Locusts enjoy eating as a mid-afternoon snack? If you answered COG soldiers, you're only partially correct, because the real answer is toast. Yes, plain toast.

We know about this Locust toast fetish because of the antique Locust Horde toaster that's hidden Gears of War 2's final "The Hive" chapter. Check the break for the toaster video and decide if you like your toast extra toasted or only mildly toasted. We usually opt for extra toasted and then scrape off the charred bits. Don't ask.

what was a spoiler....... everyone thinks everything even a background is a spoiler

Some of us like to keep everything a mystery until we get there. If I would have seen the set pieces for the end of ACT II prior to playing it then the surprise would not have been as awesome as it was. I think that for at least the first month of a games life, anything showing something in the game off should be prewarned with Spoiler. Just my opinion.

I'm sorry that I'm just honing in on your but seriously, people need to start being more accountable for the actions (in this case, CLICKING) instead of constantly whining about shit on the internet. It's not as if this post came out and said, "Anya dies at the end!!"

does seeing an image of a teams staduim before you see them in person ruin the game its not like your friend giving you the final score in the first inning. plus if you dont want stuff to be ruined dont look at ingame videos and stay away from GOW blogs and posts...... heres an awesome idea do like i did and beat the game before reading anythin game related and that will stop this from happening...

For your information, I have already beaten the game. I was simply looking at it as if I had not. I may not want to see something like this. I am not crying in any way, just simply making a suggestion.

Considering the fact that they said, BEFORE the break, that the clip is from "Gears of War 2's final "The Hive" chapter," I think it's pretty obvious that if you really didn't want to have that part ruined for you, you could choose not to view the video. Simple!

Oh, and P.S. the video only shows some pillars, and, what, has the voice of the queen for like two seconds? It could hardly be classified as 'spoilers!'.

Wow, did that count as a collectible? There was an icon that popped up but I couldn't make it out.

Charred parts on toast are the best ... love easter eggs like this in games. Very cool.

Hive is not the "final" Chapter or even Act. That would be "Aftermath".

Right after I saw this I loaded up my game, which just so happened to be saved right there. It's actually there, lol. Why toast? And what else did they hide?
