Achievement unlocked: GTA IV 'Key to the City'
We suppose a physical award is more satisfying than the typical on-screen, pop-up Achievement or Trophy, but then, what use, really, is a giant key engraved with the Rockstar and GTA IV logos? Fine, we admit it! We're jealous. There was simply no hope in us ever completing 100 percent of the Big Apple-sized sandbox (and by May 19th, no less). In fact, we're not certain we even finished a single mission. We just couldn't pry ourselves away from the pool halls, dart boards and internet dates -- just how we always imagined the lazy, urban underbelly of society.

I'm guessing you don't remember the "South Park Guitar Queer-o Liveblog!!"

Why is it that I had to read the shorter source article just to understand this one? That's a first.
Adam @ Nov 13th 2008 7:28PM
Yeah, I have to agree, this post is badly written and seems to assume knowledge of previous articles on the subject.

as much as i dislike what the franchise has become even i'll admit that's pretty sweet.
it leads me to wonder if the collectors edition would've sold better had they included this instead of all that other cheap crap.

Took them long enough!
j.howlett @ Nov 13th 2008 6:37PM
looks sort of cool but too middle of the mall at the same time
Snowblind @ Nov 13th 2008 7:07PM
Kind of cool, but what's it actually made of? It looks very plastic.
CH3BURASHKA @ Nov 13th 2008 7:20PM
This is very depressing to me since I'm the kind of guy who'd max out my GTA4 save (seeing as I had juiced San Andreas for most of it), and I don't (still) have an Xbox360.
Still, I didn't know they were actually talking about real keys way back when. Looks ubercool.
TurboPhoenix @ Nov 13th 2008 8:46PM
Yep, got mine on Tuesday (Monday for the Americans out there), and it's collectastic. And useless, but it's still cool.

Awesome. Congratulations to PS3 and Xbox 360 Gamers. Us PC gamers didn't even get the opportunity to participate as we don't get to play GTAIV till November 18, 2008.
Excuse me, I forgot, we were delayed once more. Make that December 2, 2008.
Guess us PC gamers aren't good enough to participate in these contest. Speaking of which, hey Rockstar, how about a Bully patch?

Man that's some dedication. Not sure I've got the hardcore streak if that's what's required. Played it through almost to the end but I can't be the only one who got bored with it? Great game but boring in the end.

Wow, after about four hours I realized it was all the same thing with a facelift, so I took it back, I can't imagine playing that much.

Jeez, what is it with people and GTA? Its the same gam its been since GTA3! Just a few extra features. lol, its almost as bad as buying Madden every year.......
Papa Midnight @ Nov 14th 2008 10:20AM
Whoa whoa... Now that's not even close to a fair comparison. GTA definitely changes with each release. Buying Madden every year for essentially the same game is one thing. Buying GTA every other year or so is completely different.

Each GTA is a different story. What you are basically saying is that you saw one football game so there is no reason to see another.
