Speaking at the BMO Capital Market conference today, Take-Two fitness guru Strauss Zelnick posed some new release dates for the next entries in Rockstar's sprawling crime epic, Grand Theft Auto. All signs point to peace in the streets as we approach Chinatown War's previously marked release in late January. Strauss has pushed the downtown conflict into Take-Two's second fiscal quarter, which runs from February through April.
Possibly joining the isometric pocket pusher in Q2 will be the overdue GTA IV DLC for Xbox 360. Strauss still has his heart set on January, though, as the total package is "close to completed."

Is that GTA Chinatown Wars or Auto Modellista? I can't tell.
As for the DLC - To little to late for most people to give a shit about. If the DLC drops and is good & fairly priced I will pick up a 360 copy of GTA IV. Target has those brand new limited editions here in my hometown for $40.00. The one with the lockbox or whatever it is.

That would appear to be an in-depth carjacking tutorial. My wit escapes me. I'm left to stare in wonder at the degradation of society. Moving on.

January would be a good time for this DLC (well, ideally, August/September would have been a good time) when we've all finally made it through this month's backlog. The question is: How many people still have their copies of GTAIV?

I'm wondering if there will be any voiceovers in this one, and if they'll have horrible accents. Because all Asians in the U.S. have "Asian" accents. ;)

im still curious about it. i have GTAIV on PS3 (before i got a 360) but now im wondering if the DLC may be worth trading in my copy and buying it on 360. so basically it depends on what it is. i stopped playing it almost as soon as i beat it but it was still a fun and well made game, i could go for some more if the DLC is big enough.

Don't buy it?
Personally i've never enjoyed any of the 3D iterations of GTA. They were all snoozefests of the highest order, tho i thoroughly enjoy both Saints Row games. I'm old enough to remember and love GTA1 and GTA2, and this brings back fond memories. It's gonna be great.

I'm looking forward to Chinatown Wars. I haven't touched my DS in years, literally.

As for GTA IV DLC, I hope it involves enlivening things like the amusement park, skate park, driving range, etc.
