Blade Interactive to self-publish Hydrophobia in March '09

Should the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 game make a splash next year, the sequel is certain to surface soon after.

i like the concept of a puzzle game like ICO, having you trying to get out of a sinking ship.
coll idea, hopefully they pull it off
Ranus Studios @ Nov 14th 2008 12:11PM
I don't know, man. The ship could also be exploding.
Ludwig Kietzmann @ Nov 14th 2008 12:18PM
Gotta save something for the sequel!
Shignami @ Nov 14th 2008 12:15PM
I expect some capsize-induced backtracking, of course.
And I don't know, most of us played Dead Space, "Stranded alone in space with hideous creatures" ship might be worse than just "sinking"
Blank-Mage @ Nov 15th 2008 1:11AM
Gah, you beat me to it. Dead Space is certainly up there for worst ship evar.
iFester @ Nov 14th 2008 12:18PM
Man, has the writing staff been reading Xanth novels lately? Too many puns. :P
Shagittarius @ Nov 14th 2008 12:22PM
bannage!
John Z @ Nov 14th 2008 1:10PM
I hate to burst your bubble, but that's what Ludwig does. And while I can't fathom why you would be upset at this, if it floats his boat, then so be it. Rest assured, though, that the deep cries of anguish over these puns will soon be drowned out by the usual wave of fanboys crying oceans of tears that the version dredged up on the other side of the console river is, compared to their own, all wet.
iFester @ Nov 14th 2008 3:33PM
Hate to burst your own bubble there John, but the added tongue smiley meant I was being silly. I know that's hard to convey on blog comments and forums but my intent wasn't to complain.
Felipe @ Nov 14th 2008 12:22PM
"...has bloggers clumsily incorporating unnecessary water words into any articles they write about it."
that just made me laugh because it will be true.
Biff_McFresh @ Nov 14th 2008 1:06PM
I'm freightened by 70% of my body.
Matt Ferens @ Nov 14th 2008 1:09PM
What if the ship was also on fire and full of monsters that wanted to eat you? I think that would be the worst kind of ship.
John Z @ Nov 14th 2008 1:13PM
No.
Princess Cruise with Kathie Lee Gifford.
Enjoy your nightmares.
Matt Ferens @ Nov 14th 2008 2:14PM
AHH!
Popfrogs @ Nov 14th 2008 4:50PM
Well, it's good to see that this game isn't all washed up. I can hardly wait to see it sail into port on my favorite console soon.
/bury away

All I can do is *groan* at those uncomfortable water words!
