At first I was angry at them for it, but now I see that Harmonix going with EA/MTV was a great move. Activision may have a ton of money, but there is NO WAY they can compete with MTfriggenV when it comes to securing content. It was the only thing they could've done.

This beats the Guitar Hero pack because old Killers material is better than the new stuff.

I bought the Killers first cd on a whim while on family vacation in Wisconsin at the age of 11.

It was very very good (I thought) and I felt very special, because no one knew about this wonderful band.

Two months later they were insanely popular and I was sad.

BUT I DONT CARE!! These guys are a guilty pleasure of mine and I will definitely download the pack, especially for the two songs from their first album. Oh nostalgia!

They shouldn't be a guilty pleasure. They're a great band. Don't let some assholes make you feel insecure about a band you like, because they want to seem more L33t.

why in the hell would you be sad that a band you enjoy made some money and isnt stuck being poor? why would you not wish them the most success possible? maybe people say some bands "sell-out" after they get popular. but the album you loved is the exact same thing it was before they got popular. and the killers are a perfect example of NOT selling out. they work hard to make great music...and LOTS of it. they are releasing their 4th album in 4 years and its all been great.

don't be ashamed of your love for any artist. EVER.

I don't care that they're successful. I'm happy that they are.

I don't think you understood what I was trying to say. Sometimes I just like things to myself, and the Killers were one of those things. It was just a nice little secret.

For example, I've loved Modest Mouse from the beginning, and many people could argue they've "sold out", but I don't care in the slightest. I'm just weird in that I like certain things to be "special" and secret in a way.
