Not to be outdone by Activision's announcement that The Killers downloadable content is headed to World Tour, Harmonix and MTV Games just informed Wired that they'll be releasing their own The Killers DLC to the Rock Band music store. The songs will make their way to the Marketplace on Tuesday, November 25th, the same day the World Tour DLC is released. Zing!
The Rock Band DLC will be a three pack of The Killers tracks including two the classics "Mr. Brightside" and "Smile Like You Mean It" as well as the new "Spaceman" track off their latest album Day and Age. Each track is expected to be priced at 160 Microsoft points individually or bundled for 440 points.

Half of me wishes this site wasn't so dominated by RB/GH content garbage. Actually, more than half.

Nope... No chance.
The whatever-crappy-band you just said will never be included, because people like me will buy the Killers pack, and then HMX will realize they should stick with music that the majority. people want to listen to...
Sorry to burst your bubble.

I agree with you, they should add more metalcore bands, they did release a DLC pack of metal songs and the megadeth album a few months ago but there should be way more metal.
as for "gib00"
The "whatever-crappy-bands" that bugatti23007 mention are actually great bands and quite talented, and Harmonix shouldn't just stick to what's "Scene", they should cater to all types of music fans, and the killers are very 2003 to begin with, hence why 2 of the 3 songs are from their debut album, and the other one is just to promote their new album, so stop hating and just learn to accept all kinds of music.

Being a Big killers and ROCK BAND owner I was sad that GHWT announced the killers DLC. But now this is really good news. Plus the songs in the Rock Band DLC are way betters song selection from the killers. :)

Nice, thanks for the scoop! I love hearing new Rock Band news, especially stuff outside of the normal Friday announcements... although those are fun too.
