You can probably make a crosswords game in say, two months, with one programmer, one graphic designer, and somebody part-time to do any audio/music.

So it costs maybe $40k to make it; you only need to sell a few thousand copies and you're in profit. (That's excluding marketing, but if you do marketing you'll probably sell much more.)

The real question is why anyone makes a crossword game and try to sell it at retail (presumably budget, but still) rather than WiiWare... I suspect the answer is that retail 'casual' titles still sell better because 'casual' buyers probably don't have their system hooked up to the net etc.

disclaimer: numbers made up, but that has to be the general idea.

They already have NFS Undercover DLC out on the XBLM. Once again, releasing DLC before the game even hits shelves. Wow, that is kind of a turn off.

Also, Rock Revolution has been out in stores already, at least where I live. Target has had it for nearly a month now. Not worth buying, but certainly not new, at least around here.

Seconded...they should have just re-released the 2D games in one HD face-lifted anthology for XBL Arcade and the PSN Store...I would've paid $20 for that, but not MKvsDC.

I'm not the biggest comic fan, okay, Batman is canon, and I loved the original MK series, but mashing them together for a game? Who thought that was a great idea?

Probably relatives of the same people who thought having the Soul Caliber universe intermingle with Stars War was a wonderful collabo. Wacky crossovers, I hate you.

You're right Alien Lord 360 has so much better controls. I played it on both, and on the 360 I don't even have to have my crosshairs on the the zombies and it still kills them. Screw pc, I'm all about the zombie seeking bullets.
