PSA: Xbox.com (NOT Xbox Live) down Nov. 18 [update]
Update: Aaaaaand it's back. Bet you didn't even notice.
Just a quick public service announcement: Major Nelson informs us that Xbox.com as well as the Xbox.com forums will be
down for maintenance on November 18 from 12:01am PT until 4:00am PT. The maintenance, as you may have guessed, is being done in preparation for the
New Xbox Experience, which launches this Wednesday. Major Nelson stresses (in big, angry red letters, no less) that Xbox Live will
not be down during this time, but who's to say, really? After all, aliens could attack, which we're pretty sure would render Xbox Live inoperable. So let's just say Xbox Live isn't
scheduled to be down tomorrow.
