hmm.. well, xbox.com AND XBL were down last night, 5am est to around 530 or 545am est... similar failure for me and all my friends the night before, not sure what time..
they didnt announce either of those outages, im betting theres gonna be more failures leading up to and after the NXE is released..

i dont remember an x3f post about the downtime.. hell, i check a dozen sites a day looking for 360 news and i didnt know.. too little and way too late..
instead of posting notice on Major Nelson's page how about sending a message to XBL users about a shutdown.

Anybody want to take odds on XBL crashing soon after everyone updates? I've got a bad feeling about this Christmas season as well...I still haven't forgotten about the mass shutdown the last days of December last year.

I remember that -- it was a very annoying two week period and Microsoft should have been prepared, but as always they try to screw the people who subscribe to peer-to-peer service.
