Pretty good, actually. According to this article (http://www.siliconera.com/2008/09/04/is-square-enix-working-on-a-bahamut-lagoon-remake/), Blood of Bahamut has already been trademarked (at least in the U.S.), and, unlike Namco-Bandai who trademarks their properties in the U.S. out of paranoia with no real intent to release them, a Square-Enix trademark generally means we're getting the game. For instance, we knew the subtitles of DQ IV-VI a good while before they were ever even officially announced for NA.

It does look good. Most attractive to me are the concept art, the look of the game and the story.

Don't know what to make of it.

I would have preferred another Bahamut Lagoon, but this definitely seems like a unique idea.

Eh. I'll give it a shot, but it looks like FF Crystal Chronicles for DS with good concept art on that one boss.

Looks pretty meh-tacular to me. Maybe it's just too early to judge. I can't say that I've been really surprised and pleased by a Square/Enix game in awhile, with the partial exception of TWEWY. Unfortunately, Squenix is all about conventions, and I like freshness.

Based on three screenshots and concept art? We don't know ANYTHING about the game except that it's most likely an RPG, or something similar to an RPG, since it is from Square-Enix, and that it features a giant thing that attacks you at some point.

I'll wait until more information is available until I get excited.

Wait...how is it that people being excited over this game based on the few scenes shown in the trailer is suddenly more wrong than it's been for any other game trailer that does the same thing? I'm not defending the game just because of my own interest in it, but I still have to say that there's nothing unusual about the Blood of Bahamut trailer as far as game trailers go. In fact, it's more informative than a lot of them in that it actually shows gameplay. To my knowledge, when the first bits of information and media on a game really grab people by the face, never has it been gamer tendency to hold back anticipation until we have in-depth previews, know the ins and outs of game mechanics, reviews are available, etc. We all haven't all thrown our judgment away en masse over a piece of concept art.

I know it makes me sound like a hypocrite after ranting so much about the My World, My Way trailer, but that wasn't so much about the content as it was what the content said about Atlus' reasons for localizing the game.

And I say this in all good-naturedness. I know how awful it can be when trying to detect tone on the internet, and far would it be for me to be negative over something so inconsequential as a game trailer. Just imagine whatever friendly emoticon suits you at the end of the above post, eh heh.

Well I dunno, it got me totally psyched! It seems to me that it's a game like Shadows of the Colossus, where every epic titan is an entire level. And that unique concept is so cool to play! Can't wait to get that experience on my beloved handheld.

Im definitely interested to learn more. The story seems interesting, plus Square Enix rarely disappoints me.
