There's no advantage to an HDMI 1.3 cable on a pre-HDMI 1.3 machine. And all 360s are pre-HDMI 1.3, at least to date. I'd love to see one do multichannel discrete audio like PS3, which requires HDMI 1.2a or later (I think).

Just a thought: does anyone think that MS may be gearing up to release 360 games digitally? I thought this may make sense because MS could make another page for downloadable "greatest hits" 360 games similar to the original xbox games. Maybe because of the great success of the XBLA MS is willing to take the next step. They could start with the greatest hits titles, offering them even cheaper than they are now because they wouldn't have to package, ship and stock them and if that works move on from there. I personally like having a hard copy, call me old school, but I may check out a few greatest hits games digitially if I could get them for $15 or so.

It'd be somewhat hard considering the limited space of even the new 60GB Premium. I've got nearly nothing on my Elite and games take up anywhere between 5-10GB... it's quite a lot.

Am I the only one noticing that the chart is cut off in the middle of the Core SKU? Or was that some intentional commentary on what joystiq thinks of the Core model?

Well, the Core model's nickname in the gaming world is the "'tard pack."

It wasn't like that earlier. I think it happened because they split the Pro model to show both the 60 and 20 GB version. The first chart they had up only showed the new 60GB model and the Core wasn't cut off.

Looks okay to me. Other than the picture above the Pro column being a picture of a Premium, it's right on now.

Ahh. Just in time. I'm putting some money aside for a 360 (60 bucks till I get one, yeah!), and I'll be getting the Arcade model, and doing that 30 dollar HDD upgrade. I don't need a s-ton of space, because I 'm not one for XLA games, but the additional space for DLC is a plus.

Only think concerning me is the chipsets in the new holiday bundles, and how they fare compared to the old ones as far as percentage of RROD and noise.

At least XBox never removed any important features in later SKUs (Im looking at youuuu PS3) I recently bought a PS3 and I had to buy the MGS4 Pack on eBay for 480 since the current 80gb's aren't backwards compatible -_-
