I really believe its posible to develop a game as good as they promise. Just take a look at the final fantasy ring of fates, its like what the gta screenshots show, ok, much cuter and with magic, but at the end, its only a matter of change of sprites, backgrounds, etc, but the DS has prooved able to run the engine.

I only know 2 games that use 256 MB cards,
ASH (Archaic Sealed Heat) and and the game about recipes
I think GTA CTW will be nice in one of those cards

I really hope this game turns out to be good, I have been a fan of GTA since the often overlooked GTA 1 and 2

It could only be "too good to be true" if the game weren't the same thing that we've been playing since the old top-down 2D GTA games.
Not that it isn't fun. It's just.....getting old at this point.

Eh, not really excited since I saw the screenshots. I really like the concepts that Rockstar is pulling off, using the touchscreen, mic, etc., having Liberty City open to explore, but I'd really just like to totally avoid squinting at my tiny dot of a character on the little screen of my DS.

It sounds ambitious, of course, but this isn't some shag-headed startup. It's Rockstar, and it's Grand Theft Auto. I don't think they'd make all these wild claims if they weren't able to both make it work and integrate it in a fun way. It's not like they've let us down so far.
It's not going to be a warm-over of GTA1 or 2, which should be established at this point, but I think everyone forgets just how incredibly deep those games were. If Chinatown Wars is a third as complex and polished as those two, I'll be impressed. Still I think it'll be better.
After GTA4, they have to make it something spectacular.
And besides, whistling to get a cab? Doesn't that make the first mic gimmick that anyone looks forward to? or can look forward to? I know I am.

I just can't wait to see the main character, see if he has a story, or if he is a gta I & II style where you just plop into the game and start killing stuff.
I bet he's asian!

Actually, considering the amount of stick this game is getting, I think it will be brilliant.
It sounds awesome, and vast, plus (from the screens) i'm a real fan of the art and style of this game.
Odds are it'll be delayed again, but that matters not - This game looks good.
