Here's the important info: Planet Fallout has created a Google map of the Capital Wasteland in Fallout 3. It includes a rather exhaustive account of the game's various quests, important locations, and various other miscellanea (even the locations of NPCs). The site is also accepting user submitted locations, so be sure to drop your favorite spots and Easter eggs (don't expect it to show up too soon though, as the map is currently flooded with submissions). Be warned that it contains many a spoiler, and you may want to avoid it if you haven't finished Fallout 3 yet. Given the nature of the game, we'd say that's a distinct possibility for plenty of gamers out there.

Sorry, I wasn't very clear: the graphic showing locations is a spoiler in itself. Please don't just put it up there without warning about spoilers.

I haven't played Fallout 3, and I certainly don't know what the hell those symbols are meant to represent and will likely forget about it altogether within 30 seconds.
I think the graphic is acceptable, and judging by the staff's dismay with people screaming "PUT SPOILERS ON IT" on things that aren't really spoilers, I'm sure they will find your comments ludicrous.

Well, I have the game and I don't want to know where stuff is. It's a spoiler.

Never has the phrase 'making a mountain out of a mole hill' seemed so relevant.

I kept meaning to use this since you posted it on Joystiq last week, but I haven't found a terminal I could hack in quite some time. Maybe I'll go try and find one since I'm about 9 hacks away from an achievement.
