Looks like I'll finally get to play Half-Life.

I think I'm one of the few that would actually benefit with buying this on a sale, given I've never played the game.

No credit-card though :\

Since no one mentioned it.. the reason for this is that its Half Life's 10 year anniversary.

Awesome game... i got so sucked in to it. (well, except the last few Xeen levels.)

I actually have the Half Life platinum collection with Half Life 1, the two expansions, TF, and the original CS. This makes me want to go through HL1 again, and the expansions since I never really played them.

Got this for me and my friend. I think this is an amazing deal, I mean, seriously, $10 to .98? You gotta give props to Valve for just giving us awesome game deals, like The Orange Box and their weekend deals. A couple weeks back, they had Audiosurf for $2.50, from $10, which is an absolute steal.

So wait, let's think this through: if Valve makes Half-Life .98 cents because it's released in 1998...next year is supposedly Counter-Strike's 10th birthday.

So perhaps...Counter-Strike 1.6, 99 cents to celebrate the 10 years? Remember guys, June 12, according to the Wiki.

Unless they do something odd and only say "but the retail version is not 10 years old"

Have all the half-life games every one of them and there all great. 98 cents for hl is a steal. Now if all game developers were like Valve the world would be a happier place :)

Anyone else have the halflife that used wan(I believe that is what it was called), instead of steam? Bought it before steam even existed. I still have it somewhere. I will probably just go ahead and get it for .98 though since it will be connected with steam then.

Very nice. I already have Half Life somewhere in my room, but I can't be bothered trying to locate it.I might get this again, it's been years since I've last touched this gem.

Here's a fun idea:

1. Buy 15 copies
2. Make 15 friends happy.

I wish I could play this on my DS. But there isn't any homebrew mod out there that can run it. If they got this game running on the ipod then why not on the DS?

The 98 cents seems more like a convenience charge than anything else. >.>
